A heartfelt thank you for the hospitality, assistance, and detailed instructions during my brief visit to Bergamo. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and cozy, and enjoyed a fantastic, central location in the Città Bassa.

La camera fresca ed il letto davvero confortevole.

Pur avendo tutte le istruzioni del caso per effettuare l'accesso ed il check-in devo dire che ci siamo sentiti un po' in un escape room. Comunque niente di insuperabile! Peccato che non ci sia un'area di parcheggio più vicina considerando il caldo e il sole a picco delle 14

They reimbursed us for the taxi and offered a free stay as a compensation.

Well, 15 min before check in we still hadn't received our check in instructions. We called customer service and they sent them, only for us to find out that these instructions were for another place, 30 min away from what we had booked. We called customer service again, and after 45 min of us waiting in the front, they finally informed us that they rebooked us to another location because of a technical issue with the bathroom. No one thought to inform us of that in advance it seems. In the end, after losing 1 hour of the only day we had in Bergamo, we had no choice but to agree to the new location under the promise that they will bring us to the new place by car and they will pick us up in the morning and bring us to the airport, free of charge. This was important because from the new location it was much more difficult to get to the airport than from the original one, which was a primary reason for picking it as our flight was at 8am and we didn't want to lose time in that. The new location was okay, except that the blinds in the bathroom didn't work so going to the toilet at night and turning on the lamp meant everyone from the street could see your business. It also wasn't exactly 5 min away from the center as promised, but we still managed to see Bergamo. Then the morning comes, we go down at the agreed hour and guess what, no one was there. After trying for 15 min to reach the driver with no reply, we eventually had to book a taxi because we wouldn't have made it on time otherwise, which cost us 30 euros for 9 min drive, but as I said above, thankfully we got reimbursed by him and he apologized for the situation. But the stress of that 1 night stay was totally not worth it. And to top it all off, customer service was completely unhelpful. First, they tried to tell us our check in was at 3pm while on Booking it says 2pm. Thankfully, we didn't have to wait another hour to find out we were not going to be in the place we had booked.
