Ideal location in downtown Kushiro, close to the train station, the river, the entertainment district and a park. The rooms are cozy, if dated, and the breakfast is enough to satisfy you. Staff was warm and welcoming.
The breakfast buffet is rather bland. The hotel rooms, while cozy, are definitely beginning to show their age.

Location was reasonable. The price was incredibly affordable, so I can't complain about the room too much.
I booked a non-smoking room but the smell of smoke was so strong when I entered the room that I had to open the window. Also, there was an ashtray in the room.
The room was really narrow and the bathtub a bit small, but deep.

Room was an ok size.
Parking was inconvenient, smelled old and stank of cigarets in non-smoking room, no AC so very hot in the summer, and street next to hotel was loud with the windows open

- The room was amazingly small and uncomfortable for Hokkaido standards, expensive for the size.
- The entire hotel does NOT have air conditioner in the whole building, the room was over 30ºC the entire night even when outside was 20ºC.
- The room design was faulty, only one window on the corner of the room and the air doesn't flow.
- We requested a change to any other room, any, even if smaller. This was denied or offered another exactly same room, even hotter. They just gave us yet another fan. Creating a current with both door and windows opened allowed us to sleep, while still sweating the blankets.
- The parking charges 1000 yen per night, even when it is not attached to the hotel itself, it si gravel and full of bumps. Dirty like you would not expect for any decent hotel in Japan.
- The breakfast quality was, without any doubt, below expectations.
Of all the days we spent in Hokkaido, this was by far the only place that did not meet any expectation we had.
