Amazingly beautiful property! Got our family well with enough bedding for everyone. Kids enjoyed the basement with the variety of games. The bunkhouse was perfect for my teenage boys although I do feel it could be updated. But worked for them. GORGEOUS views from the back deck. We loved sitting in the loft swing beds and watching the sunsets. The only con I will say is the floors on the main floors creak when walking on so if you have late sleepers downstairs, it will wake them up Great stay otherwise!

We enjoyed our stay here! We ran into a few hiccups locating the home, cell signal, and needing a later checkout. The host was easy to reach and super helpful. The shower is incredible! The view is so peaceful. As we are local residents to Macon county we will definitely be recommending this property for future out of town guests!

We had a great weekend stay at Laurel Lodge. Cabin is in a quiet, remote area that is still close to Franklin and Highlands, where we snow tubed. We had plenty of space for 4 adults and 6 kids, with basically 2 masters on the main and a basement plus mini cabin on the property. Lots of updates in the cabin - HUGE shower in the primary bedroom, dining table for 8 , comfy mattresses, plenty of towels, nice hot tub and lots of fun games in the basement for the kids. Our very favorite feature of the cabin was the two swinging beds on the porch with the most gorgeous view.. we were there every free moment we had. Home was also one of the best stocked rentals we ve stayed in and we’ve stayed in many. The local contact Loretta was very helpful when I had a couple different questions! It was a bit hard to find using our phones gps’ but the check in instructions included written directions that helped. We would love to return for a longer stay next time!

We really enjoyed our stay. Beds were comfortable. Shuffleboard was fun! I’d definitely come back.
