Was very clean, host was responsive and helpful. We had an issue with the gas and someone came to fix it within 2 hours. It snowed during our stay and the snow was plowed by someone twice. Could only find 2 bathrooms. Not a problem for our group, just informing. Overall, amazing stay and would recommend

We had 6 wrestlers and 6 parents stayed at the cabin before a big wrestling tournament at SUNY Sullivan. This was the perfect place for our stay for us. Two comfortable bedrooms on the main floor, a great loft with two beds and two rooms downstairs with bunk beds for the athletes. Decorations and antiques are amazing. The fireplace is great and really warms the main room to the house. Peter was available for questions and accessible. Roosters are there to make sure you know you are in the country. Great place to stay and close to major roads.

Peter was an amazing host and accommodated all of our needs. He was very helpful over the phone leading up to & throughout our stay. We loved the house and everything it had to offer. Definitely would recommend this house anyone!

This was a perfect home for our group of ten adults, five children, and a dog! Comfortable sleeping arrangements, plenty of kitchen supplies for making big meals, and cozy seating and room around the fireplace!
Our host Peter was very efficient and pleasant; he very promptly responded to questions to ensure we were enjoying our stay.

We had a great time. The property was clean and large enough for 4 families. Quiet environment. Peter, the host, was very kind and reachable even though he was traveling. Overall, a very nice stay.

Perfect spot for a neighborless getaway in the woods, very private and well equipped. The fire pit is awesome. Fast WiFi. The host Peter is a great guy and super responsive to texts if you need to reach out for anything. The rooster came and hung out with us on the porch late at night while we played games with red cups, which was awesome.
Also since no other reviews mentioned it- the range is about 50 yards if you use the whole length.
Five stars in all categories, will be renting again !

Stay here for a weekend for my brothers bachelor party. Peter was easy to get in touch with and very helpful. House was amazing and the property was great to walk around. 20 mins from casino. Can’t wait to come back up with my wife and family

First, I would just like to say that the host, Peter, was the most accommodating host that I have ever dealt with. I believe this is the first time that I have booked through VRBO but I have used similar rental apps many times and let me tell you, this was the best property/host experience that I’ve ever had. He helped us understand the layout of the house and the property before we even booked so we could make sure that the house could accommodate the amount of people that we needed it to and so we could make sure that it fit our style of vacation stays. We had to host almost 20 guests at this property for our wedding and I can say that everyone had something good to say about it wether it was about the rustic cabin feel, the wrap around deck overlooking the apple orchard, the beautiful fire pit with Adirondack chairs, or just the beautiful scenery of the surrounding areas. If you’re looking for a beautiful rustic cabin (with modern amenities) to stay at in the Catskills that has the ability to accommodate small and large groups of people, that is just far enough away from the busy life to be immersed in the beauty of nature but not too far away where you feel “out there”, and that has a host that is willing to make your special day, weekend, or week even more special then make sure you book your stay here. Thank you Peter for being a great host. We will definitely book a stay with you again at some point and will recommend it to anyone we know or meet.

I hosted about 20 of my good friends for a birthday celebration in the woods, with a mixture of outdoor activities, music and dancing, dinner and cake, the works. Peter was helpful and communicative throughout, letting me know that the kitchen was well-stocked for large groups and accommodating our request for both early check-in and late check-out. We left notes on a couple of neighbours' doors, inviting them to join the festivities and one of them actually did! Nice to feel like we were in such a friendly community. The house had everything we needed, enough beds for everyone, truly a perfect setting. Would definitely recommend!

Very nice cabin. Everyone enjoyed spacious deck where all could gather and spacious living and dining areas. Enjoyed campfire area with ample chairs.
The only thing Would suggest is that the property manager provide a map of location of walking trails on the property and where the bikes are located

Where do I even begin? We had a group of 20 people and we fit more than comfortably within the cabin! It had everything we could have hoped for and more than enough space to accommodate everyone and their belongings. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and was everything I hoped for and more. However, the real highlight was the host. I have never had a more amazing host in my lifetime. From the minute I booked the cabin, Peter welcomed me with open arms and answered every question I possibly had. Throughout the stay, he was very contactable and ensured that all of us were safe and having a good time. I simply cannot recommend this cabin enough!!!! From the fire pit, to the endless grounds to the amazing wall decor, if a place could get six stars this would be it!

This house is absolutely amazing and exceeded all expectations. First of all, Peter was so accommodating and very responsive whenever we had questions! The house was clean, fun and in a great location! The chickens were also so cute and walk right up to you! I absolutely would recommend this cabin to anyway looking for a weekend getaway, vacation or celebration. Thanks for an amazing stay Peter, hopefully I’ll be coming back!

We had an absolutely great time at the cabin in the woods to celebrate our Mom’s 80th Birthday with 20 immediately family members near and far. Not easy to host that many family members in one location that fit our style. Mom always wanted a cabin and fall being her favorite season this fit the ticket. The weather was gorgeous letting us enjoy the wrap around porch/deck and a large yard to play in. The cabin has an open floor plan and super clean. Peter was very accommodating to have additional table and chairs for our group. Thank you for this most magical weekend.

Big group for concerts at Bethel Woods
We had a great time and this was a clean, well equipped, comfortable place to stay. The AC was almost non existent and we had a very hot weekend so that was quite uncomfortable, particularly upstairs. From the pics the place looks bigger than it is but there was plenty of room for our party. The bunk room felt a bit claustrophobic for adults to use the top bunks but overall we had a great time. Peter was a wonderful and accommodating host and we’d definitely come back and recommend this house. Just needs central air and a way to turn the too bright outside lights out at night.

I rented the cabin for the entire week while the kids were on winter break from school. The cabin has so much character!! It’s cozy and was wonderful for our family - myself, my son (7), my sister, her husband & their children (7, 5 & 3). The bunk beds in the basement were fun for the kids! I slept on one of the bottom bunks & it was comfortable for an adult!
The cabin is very spacious! We spent a lot of time in front of the fireplace, and loved sharing meals & playing games at the dining room table in the separate room.
The kitchen island was great for meal prep & allowed all the kiddos to sit & eat together.
The property was fun to walk around & after the snow we were able to use the little hill in the yard for the kids to go snow tubing.
The wrap around deck is very spacious & great to sit & relax! I spent a lot of time on that deck!
We are grateful we found this cabin & will be sure to book again in the future!! Thank you again for everything!!

My cousin and I alway take a week @ year to gather with our kids. This time she wanted to be very different from what we do every year. Nevertheless, it was a very different experience, we not only spent time at in the woods but we also had a real wood cabin and a very beautiful one. The place is also great to enjoy snow and is a great place to just seat by the fire place and relax .
