Pretty condo in a great resort setting. Very nice pool and golf course and great Black Marlin restaurant on site. Close walk to large beach. Port A is a very cute beach town.

Nice place. Great for a quick trip for my wife and I. We’ll appointed, nice amenities. Everything was in good shape.

Everything was perfect for our trip to Port A. There was plenty of room for my little family and my parents. The rental was squeaky clean and all set up and ready for us when we arrived and even had some extra beach toys for my kiddo to enjoy. The location was great and the Palmilla Beach staff was very helpful with rentals. Will definitely consider this place for future stays.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked a 3 night stay at this condo. First night we discovered that the cable box had been password protected such that you couldn't watch even local broadcast channels (unless it was a news show). Owner said code was added by a previous guest which means they KNEW about the problem, but didn't take care of it before we arrived. Wasn't able to watch TV for 2 of our 3 nights there (mgmt co was able to add an App to smart TV allowing us access 3rd night). First morning getting ready to go to the beach we found that the fridge wouldn't dispense ice or water because of need to change water filter. No way to override the condition. Mgmt company was able to get that fixed during the day, but we had to go to the store before beach to get ice for that day. Overall condo is nice and clean. But, having basic amenities like broadcast TV and ice not working was a serious disappointment - especially at this price point.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed a perfectly relaxing stay in our wonderful condo here. It was very clean upon arrival and easy to access. We had everything we needed for our stay and it was the perfect spot for our family of 5. Nice deck to enjoy my morning coffee on. Couch was unexpectedly COMFY, you just sink right into it, great for my mid day nap. Beds were unexpectedly less comfy but not terrible. Could us a pillow top pad or something, I like a firm bed but it was a firm spring bed which belt a little boxy. Other than that our stay was perfect. The resort will be really nice when it’s finished. For now you’ll have to try to hear the waves over the nail guns and construction trucks. We didn’t get a beach cart but probably would next time, that looked fun. Pool was nice, I liked the tanning shelf’s it was otherwise just a bug pool, not sure why they didn’t do a spa or a slide or something.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was nicely appointed and comfortable. However, our view was of a building right next to us. Very disappointing considering the pictures did not represent that. It was about a block away from the pool which was inconvenient as my elderly parents were with us. We had one assigned parking spot and one evening someone else was in it. I called Turnkey and they said they couldn't do anything. I then called on-site guest services at Palmilla and was told because I was a 'renter' there was nothing they could do. Now my elderly parents had to walk further to get into the unit. Very disappointing considering what I paid for the unit! I won't stay here again considering I am treated like a 'renter' instead of a guest.

They even had Netflix which came in handy when a storm unexpectedly rolled in. The whole family loved it and all agreed we should have rented it for a longer stay. We'll definitely be back.

I inquired from the representatives but they have to go by the description, too. The only view was from the front door which the hallway is accessed by other condo guests. The view from the balcony was virtually non existent especially. My husband caught me several times on my toes trying to see the water!Otherwise the property was lovely. I would recommend it but tell anyone not to expect a gulf view you can enjoy from a chair!
