Beautiful villa with amazing views, but major issues with management company and booking.com The villa itself was clean, secure and very spacious, with amazing views and four balconies to enjoy the sunrise and sunsets. The pool was well maintained, the air conditioning was great, hot water worked well and there was plenty of parking. Wi-Fi was good indoors but not so much outside. The location is beautiful but a car is essential. Roda is great for tavernas and beaches, Kassiopi is about 15 minutes away and Corfu Town around an hour. The owner was ultimately very kind and even helped us by taking us into town to collect a hire car.

Unfortunately, our arrival was very stressful and ruined a lot of the holiday. We arrived at 10pm and the owner was not at the property. The management company had not provided us with the owner’s contact details before arrival, and it took around two hours to finally get access. During the week, Booking.com then cancelled our reservation without discussing it with us and refunded us in full. This led to the management company and owner chasing us for payment and trying to arrange a new booking. We were also asked to pay more than our original booking price and incurred a currency conversion fee. This caused a lot of unnecessary stress during our holiday. Other points to be aware of: towels weren’t changed during our week, the upstairs shower has no wall holder, the beds are very firm, there are limited clothes hangers, the main bedroom curtain doesn’t close fully and a nearby cockerel starts at around 5am.
