The check in process was horrible. Check in was 4, and by 4:30, I had received no instructions from the owner. I contacted the rental company(Aunt Bugs) to gain codes. The cabin hadn’t been cleaned after the last tenants left. Aunt Bugs rental was trying to have someone clean it as soon as possible. Aunt Bugs sent us codes for the gate and cabin but the owner/manager didn’t respond to my email or text asking for access. We arrived at 5:30 and the beds were unmade and towels still in the bathroom floor. Shortly thereafter the cleaning crew arrived and began working . They cleaned everything, but it was awkward waiting while they worked so hard. They even had to make an additional trip to drop off sheets because they were short one set of sheets. They cleaned until 7:30 and when they left everything was good as new. I am thankful they worked so hard but for the money, I am disappointed that this wasn’t taken care of before our arrival. The cabin was nice. It had an assortment of games for the children: Jenga, uno, scrabble, sorry, and an arcade game console with pinball, Ms. Pac-Man, and donkey Kong. An air hockey table was shown in the description, but it was a foosball/soccer table. Still very nice. The pool table only had one working stick to shoot with. My family purchased and additional stick and left to make it easier in the next guest. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen and living room were nice. Sofa is starting to show some wear. The rockers outside felt a little flimsy and need to be reinforced. One came apart while I was rocking and I had to put the legs back together. Beautiful electric fireplace! TVs were large. DirecTv provided entertainment. We had family movie night. The hot tub was enjoyed by everyone. There was plenty of to do at the cabin to keep the children and the adults entertained. Beautiful views were everywhere. The sky was gorgeous. Although it got off to a rocky start, the trip was a pleasant one.

Super fun getaway! Close enough to town that it was easy to get back forth (maybe 10 min drive) but far enough away that it was quiet. Lots to do in the house in case of bad weather! Great views. The board games need an update and only 1 pool cue. Really easy to check in and out (totally via text). Our only complaint is that they should have told us the house was located in a fire evacuation zone for the wild fires.

Plenty of space for my family of 5. The girls loved the loft! Tons of games. Hot tub wasn’t working at first, the owner responded quickly to help get it working. Very pleasant experience!! Loved it!

We came down to attend the UTK game and loved having a cabin with all of us together instead of hotel rooms. The cabin was very clean, well stocked with necessities and had a ton of extras that made it such a fun trip. There was so much to do with all of the games: pool table, board games, video games, etc. and the hot tub, we could have used more time. The beds were very comfortable. We will definitely be booking again.
