The house and location are fantastic. The house has all the amenities you need. Communication with the owner was good, she always got back quickly prior and during our stay. The house gets a ton of use and there is some wear and tear in the main areas (ex: kitchen floor, deck furniture) but overall very good. Our primary issue was the elevator did not work during our stay and traveling with a 75 year old who is handicapped made that a real issue. The owner did her best to fix it , but never could get it done during our stay. My issue was not that she did not try to fix it, but her response to the issue. Response 1 on day one was for me to call VRBO and find another place and she would refund night 1 and not charge for the rest of the stay. Response two after we chose to stay (no other options than to go home) was to refund us $1K (6%). I felt 6% was not fair given the trouble is caused and asked for 25% of the entire stay refunded. The response I got was "cant do that, if you left I could of rented to someone else". I then asked for how to get the $1K refund she offered and have yet to get a response or be refunded after 3 weeks. I know she did the best she could to fix the issue, I do not think the service recovery that she offered equaled the significance of the problem. To rent a house for over $15K a week due to location and amenities and not have one of the key amenities work deserves a better solution than what she offered. No refund to date received.

This home was everything we hoped for in a vacation house. Great location, practical layout, clean, pool was perfect for kids and adults, well stocked with anything you would need and views are perfect! Hope to rent again next year! Thank you!

My siblings and I rented Serenity to celebrate our mom's 95th birthday, it was absolutely perfect!! The house is beautiful and comfortable and every way, we were all so happy with our choice. The house lends itself very well to both cozy and lovely group gathering, and to privacy within. The bedrooms/bathrooms are all very pretty, and the main living/dining/kitchen area has spectacular views. And for us, the elevator and upstairs handicapped bathroom were much appreciated. The kitchen is well stocked for every need. Jamie and Shaun were wonderful to work with, very responsive and understanding, and quick to address any issue. We had a glorious and special weekend, we highly recommend the house and would love to return!

Making Memories
My husband and I along with our four children, spouses, and grandchildren had a wonderful time together in this beautiful home. The roominess of this house made our stay very enjoyable. The kitchen was well equipped there was nothing else needed and the views were breathtaking. We are all looking forward to visiting this home again.

House was really nice. It's right on the beach which was very convenient and had a pool in the back yard. Was nice to be able to use both of those and easily head back to the house for snacks, lunch, and drinks. Great house, great location!

It's true that all you have to bring is your sunblock and beach towels. This house has everything you'll need. Kids and older adults alike had a blast. Plenty of room to unwind and private living room areas. The shower made us consider our own bathroom remodel. The elevator is an added bonus for those who don't want to carry luggage far. The pool was wonderful, especially at night when lit up and the location can't be beat. We barely ran into anyone on this little patch of the beach. We definitely want to come back and bring friends!! Thanks for the excellent oasis experience.

Beautiful Views
Our family and a few close friends chose this wonderful house for vacation and we were not disappointed. There were thirteen of us and we had enough room to spread out! We enjoyed the extra sitting areas and pergola over the porch where we enjoyed our coffee in the mornings. The house is well equipped with all the kitchen items needed and LOTS of beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. The younger kids enjoyed the pool and the older kids enjoyed the margarita maker! The on site manager was wonderful and very attentive when we checked in. The master suite has SUPER comfortable chairs that overlook the ocean - a quiet get away when the kids got loud. The beds were comfortable and the linens/towels clean and plentiful. Thank you for such a lovely vacation!

Excellent house on the beach to rent!
This is our 5th year in a row staying here. Excellent house with plenty of room and private pool! The owners & property manager are wonderful. We’re already planning our trip for next year!!

Great Vacation
This is a wonderful beach house and we had a wonderful vacation despite the concern over whether we would be able to find gasoline to return home. The house is beautiful and spacious. It was extremely well stocked with anything that we might need. The pool looked nice but other than the youngest of our group that decided to brave it for awhile, we were unable to use because the water was too cold. I would definitely recommend this property. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

Anniversary get away
Beautiful home in a great location, one of the best areas of
Ocean Isle beach. Really enjoyed the pool and the closeness of the ocean . Also appreciated the pool service coming twice keeping the pool spotless. The owners were very easy to communicate with as was Tammy . Beautiful sunrise and even saw dolphins. Great vacation! Hope to return again soon.

Serenity- April 24-28
The house was absolutely beautiful and a great location right on the beach. It was perfect for our family of 6 children and spouses and 6 grandchildren. Prior to our stay, we spoke at length with Hanifa and she is delightful. Tammy (the manager) was very helpful during our stay. We hope to stay here again for years to come.

I am so glad our group of four families decided on this property. Because of the time of year, we weren't sure what the weather would be like. We wanted options to enjoy the beach and decks for nice weather, but plenty of room inside for bad weather. This home has it all!
The main sitting area was very comfortable for the group. For those that needed quiet areas, there is a sitting area off the main living room which was comfy and quiet. There is also a small media room and sitting options in the other bedrooms. Even those that had to work (Boo!) were able to do so without interruptions from the group.
The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of plates, utensils, cookware and appliances. There was plenty of room to cook, serve and feed our group of 13 - a downside for our waistlines.
There are lots of beach chairs and umbrellas provided. All in good shape. We didn't find the weights, but had brought some of our own. The left parking bay made a great space because you could see the ocean while working out.
We will gladly stay here again.

We had a wonderful experience staying here. The owners are extremely nice and responsive and take great pride in their home. The only ask, which is a simple one, is that you take care of it too during your stay.
The home itself is gorgeous. I can’t say that enough... the pictures do not do it justice. There are plenty of rooms to split up in, and the main living room and kitchen are beautiful areas for gathering together. The home itself is directly on the beach- so much so that the water at high tide comes all the way up to the pool. Low tide creates a huge flat beach area and you can walk for several miles.
We spent lots of time on the huge patios and down in the sand. My family and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience and can’t wait to go back.

Relaxing, Amazing Views
The views here are amazing! House is ideally situated to have both family time while also affording plenty of space and room to spread out and to unwind. The pictures do not do the property justice. Lots to do in the area as well, the beach was never crowded. The owners are great to communicate with and the property manager is very attentive and readily available should you need anything during your stay. Had some good luck fishing right in the surf, bike rental close by. The house is outfitted with nearly everything you could want and several grocery stores nearby for online ordering and pickup. Everyone had such a wonderful time!

Fun 50th Wedding Anniversary
We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate. Everything about Serenity was great. We loved being so close to the ocean and being able to sit on the decks and watch and listen to the ocean. We dined in because of Covid and we had everything we could possibly want in the kitchen to cook with. We also all loved the pool it was so much fun for the kids and adults. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home.
