House has a nice layout and suited our needs for 8 guests who were in town for a wedding. As others have mentioned the outdoor spaces need attention (spider webs, tree debris), I even messaged weeks before arrival after reading a review about these spaces letting them know that we expect the issues to be taken care of to which vacasa replied they would be. There were a few areas throughout the home that the cleaners missed (under dining table not swept, crumbs in kitchen corners, etc.). I messaged vacasa on arrival and they never sent anyone out to assess- this is definitely a property management issue and I feel for the owners as they are paying for a service that is not conducive to a successful rental.
The walk down to lake is pretty steep/strenuous. The upstairs deck of dock isn’t in the best shape. Had we rented the house to spend more time down at dock/water we would’ve been disappointed in this space.
Overall, with more attention to cleanliness this would be a good option for those looking to stay in the area.

I wrote a review using the Vacasa email I was sent, just over a week ago. It has yet to be posted. Great time. House was large enough for a group of 10. Poor communication with the host Vacasa. Concerns were given. The standard; we apologize for the inconvenience. Your concerns will be forwarded to the local office, was pretty much all the communication we received.And not necessarily in a timely manner. Our issues/concerns were.....could not locate the living room tv remote. Had to use the bedroom remote. We had to store bags of trash in the house. There were no outside trash bins, as stated in the info book (which needs to be updated).My daughter had a number of bugs in her room. I included pictures of the bugs in my original review. Needless to say, her and her family did not sleep well during our stay. There were a few loose boards on the deck that could be a safety hazard if not addressed in time.The refrigerator water filter needed to be replaced. Next time I use Vrbo, I hope the actually rental process isn't through Vacasa.

Cobwebs all over….stairways, basement, porch, abundant at dock. Not vacuumed…false eyelashes, hairs in bathroom, food under furniture & rugs. Outside is unkempt. Porch screens are torn. Gas tank for grill had to be traded in at our expense. Grill is not in good shape. There is not a paddle board. Only 1 chair on upper level of dock and table is cruddy. Path to dock is clay, rocks and tree roots. Not easy especially for seniors. All this was manageable and grandkids had a good time but definitely not worth the price. Would not rent again.

The house was great. The main floor was definitely remodeled recently, and it had a great cozy feel. We only went down to the basement once because as soon as we went down there we saw a a spider the size of a golf ball.
One thing I would highly recommend for the owner and for future guests is to be cautious of the last step in the house (the staircase when you go from 2nd floor to 1st floor:main floor). That last step is shorter than all the others for some reason. It's also very slippery, so as you can imagine we had an accident falling down the stairs. This can be very dangerous! One of our guests was holding board games going down the stairs and fell hard on her tailbone. She was early in her pregnancy, but started bleeding the very next morning after her fall. She continued bleeding and confirmed the miscarriage 2 days later at her OBGYN.
Please, please put a sign somewhere or get rid of that last step! That last step also juts into the walkway as you open the door to the master bedroom. It's an old home, and this staircase is definitely a relic of that. This is a great home, but please be careful going down the stairs. Even after that fall, we tried to be careful knowing that its dangerous but even then we had 2 more people *almost fall in the same spot.

We loved this house. 2 miles from the Olympic rowing venue where our event was. We will definitely be back next year!

Overall amazing weekend!!! We loved the location. The lake was quiet and the cove was a great place to relax and enjoy the water. Overall the house was a great and we could spread out and enjoy. The only thing missing were some kitchen things. We had a few issues cooking meal as for a group larger than 5 because of not enough baking sheets (there was only one and it was tiny), and pots and pans. But if you aren’t going to be cooking for a large group, it is great!! Overall we loved it and would definitely stay here again!

The house was perfect for what we needed . Lovely setting to celebrate my son’s graduation. House was well stocked with thoughtful extras. Took advantage of the kayaks and paddleboard to explore the lake. An amazing time was had by all! Thank you!

This house is adorable and sleeps so comfortably warm even in the sub arctic weather we got here in the south over the weekend. Loved the contemporary design through out. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils, mixing bowls, and tools we needed to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner with the fam. We enjoyed playing board games together in front of the fireplace floor and the game room downstairs was a hit with our 8 & 9 year old. Plenty of space for everyone to choose where to sleep. A short walk down to the water and we had lovely views of the lake atop the boathouse roof top. We had a blast here in the winter. Looking forward to returning in the warmer season when we can take advantage of the water!

There are 2 kayaks and a paddle board at the dock which is in a quiet cove off of Lake Lanier. We had a great, relaxing time and look forward to returning in the future for an extended stay!
