wonderful and everything that was expected

New, immaculately clean and well-stocked, spacious second-floor, modern condo, attractive and comfortable furnishings with tons of natural light. It has a furnished patio from which you can enjoy the wonderful view of the woods behind. (Unfortunately, for us, it was raining…) Owner Pam does a nice job maintaining the property and communicating. Building is located near the trail-head and within easy walking distance to restaurants/shops in The Commons. We love staying on the old asylum’s expansive grounds, admiring the intentionally beautiful architecture & it’s impressive spires, Just being immersed in the history of this hospital whose philosophy was to uplift the emotional and mental state of its patients by surrounding them with beauty is enough to keep me coming back to this location. And we hope to return to Pam’s unit on our next trip.

This place was brand new and super clean. The location is perfect for restaurants and shopping in "The Commons". It was very quiet and very safe. The check in process was really simple since Pam provided such detailed information. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Coffee, teas, sugar, cream, etc were provided for us. We were hoping to walk the trails but the weather wasn't cooperating with us. We couldn't have been happier with our stay!!

We were in town for our nephew’s wedding and stayed for a long weekend. The condo is well stocked and exactly as advertised. We would definitely stay again!!

This is an excellent property that combines both privacy & access to shops + dining. It’s proximity to the trailhead was a welcome feature, & the large windows in the main area back up to views of a small creek + foliage. We slept very comfortably & found the space to be well designed + very clean. The kindness of the owner was a nice bonus.
It is about a ten minute drive to downtown Traverse, but we found ourselves content to stay within the Commons more than we expected, since there are so many options within a short walk. We also had great proximity to Sleeping Bear Dunes & a memorable sailboat excursion from a nearby harbor. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area!

It was a pleasure staying in this property. It's spacious and clean. Kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen and Living area has an open layout. At the end of the day we spent time on the deck to wind down and relax. Property manager Pam was very helpful and responded to our message promptly. We would live to go back and stay at this property again.

This condo has a great location within the commons. The condo is bright with tons of natural light, a charming balcony, beautifully furnished and appointed with everything you need. owner has great client communication!

My family and I have stayed at several rentals in the TC area and this condo by far is the best. Excellent location and very clean. The condo had everything we needed for our stay and the beds are very comfortable.

This was a lovely property to spend a couple of beautiful autumn days. My sister-in-law was visiting from California, and we made a trip to Traverse City in late September and this property was a perfect place for us. Very easy check in and check out process and Pam was very timely to provide that information.

The pictures were a perfect description.
The condo was perfect. Had all the amenities within the home that you needed, the owner really THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING! I overpacked with the personal necessities like hairdryer etc that I thought I’d need, but everything even brand new makeup remover towels were waiting in the bathroom. Throw blankets beyond what you’d need. Extras of everything.
Was a great, easy, comfortable stay!! I can’t wait to visit again! Made the trip that much better.

Spacious, private apartment, that’s a short walk to coffee, Little Foot, restaurants etc. while only being a 5minute drive from DT TC and Meijer. The BEST location with the perfect balcony! Would definitely stay here again.

The condo was very nice and clean when we arrived. We were celebrating a birthday and had a few visitors and this place was perfect for our needs! Pam made sure that I had received all of the information needed to get into the place. It is located on the grounds of the historic Michigan State Hospital and there is great dining, drinking and shopping within walking distance. The condo is decorated in an urban/industrial style. The balcony off of the living room overlooks a small brook flowing by which was very relaxing! We were extremely happy with our stay and we will definitely look at staying here again in the future. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet place to relax.
