Mettiti al volante: ti bastano 8 minuti per arrivare a Saint Mary's Glacier o appena 7 per giungere a Yankee Hill. Preferisci camminare? Allora lascia il tuo veicolo qui: questa sistemazione offre anche un parcheggio.

Al rientro, posa lo zaino, riposati sulla terrazza privata e goditi l'arredamento da esterni. Anche se decidi di restare in casa, potrai approfittare di Wi-Fi gratuito, TV via cavo/satellitare e lettore DVD: annoiarsi sarà davvero impossibile.

Cozy mt. cabin vibe. Kitchen was small but well supplied. The only issue we had was with the refrigerator. The freezer didn't work right. Our ice cream melted & water dripped into the refrigerator. Comfort level of the beds was a 6. Not enough dresser storage. Couldn't use the fire pit due to the fire ban. Location was excellent. St Mary's glacier trailhead was less than a mile away but be prepared to pay 20 for parking. Idaho Spgs is close by with lots if restaurants & cute shops.

We enjoyed our Christmas stay at the Cabin at St Mary's Glacier very much; the hosts even put up a Christmas tree by the fireplace which was a considerate touch. The host was very communicative and responsive, and the cabin was remote but cozy. The cabin is a bit of a drive up a windy road, about 20 minutes away from the town, so getting up and down the mountain in the winter was a little challenging. The linens and beds were very comfortable; however, the cabin could use a deep cleaning and some reorganization. And the oven was almost completely unusable; it would not maintain temperature and trying to cook in took 3-4 times as long as it should have. The cabin does have a new toaster/convection oven, so we used for that for a couple of meals, but it's small so plan to prepare smaller dishes if you need to bake anything. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay in a cozy cabin hosted by considerate people!

Relaxing and picturesque cabin nestled in the trees close to mountain lakes and St Mary’s Glacier. We truly enjoyed our stay! The cabin was thoughtfully designed so that all eight of us slept well, had room to hang out (indoor and on the deck outside!) as well as cook our meals!! Highly recommend!

The cabin location on the mountain side with outdoor patio and firepit was lovely. We hiked right up from the backdoor to catch the Yankee Hill trail. We had good communication with the owners. Thank you! The bathrooms and laundry were so convenient and clean. The loft got good use from our two pre-teen girls. However, the cabin needs TLC. There was so much dust--bedroom shelves, floors, behind furniture, cobwebs on walls and ceilings, etc. To feel "at home" we vacuumed, dusted and mopped the dining area/kitchen the first day. One set of pillows on the family room couch was not clean. I washed all the family room blankets because there was a mouse trap next to the basket with a dead mouse in it and a few pieces of trash in the blanket basket. The kitchen lacked a few items--only three drinking glasses, no plastic bowls for mixing. Even though it was small we put it to good use. It is such a beautiful property. Could be gorgeous and very comfortable with a bit of extra attention--outside lighting, thorough clean, update of kitchen appliances. Thanks!
