The home suits its name Magic Po'Ocean! Beautiful home on North Captiva. Home was beautifully decorated, clean, and in a good location. We had a wonderful family vacation.

Beautiful well maintained property. Wonderful place to take a real break. Very quiet island. Spent hours walking the beach and passed a few people. My kids loved all the shells!!

I was very nervous about staying on an island with practically nothing there, but it turned out to be the best vacation ive ever been on. It was beautiful and so peaceful. Lots & lots of shells! I will definitely come back and visit the island again someday!

This is our third year in a row staying on North Captiva. This is a great home with fantastic owners. We got a less than desirable start but this was not due to the home or to the owners, but due to Tortuga, the local management company. However, after reaching out to the homeowners we almost immediately had our issues resolved, which is all you can ask for.
Ultimately the home itself was very clean, well equipped, and a slice of paradise. The screened in porch kept the bugs out and the pool was clean and had no issues. Other homes had some hurricane damage remaining and there was work being done all over the island during the duration of our stay, but this is to be expected and wasn't overly intrusive. The beaches are still beautiful and we wanted to stay another week! If you are hesitant to bring your tourism back to the island after the hurricane, don't be. The owners and businesses need you and if you loved the island before, that won't change.
Overall, I would strongly recommend this property and its owners.

Lovely home that was perfect for our family of three. Close to beach and Mangos, great pool. We loved every minute! Appreciated the kitchen had newer gadgets and tools that made cooking easy.

Magic Po'cean is the perfect house for a small family or (in our case) a couple of couples! Nice kitchen, living room to relax and watch TV at night if desired, a true master bedroom with bath, and a second convertible bedroom that can essentially have it's own private attached bath just by locking the hall entry door.
The owners are amazing! It's great having a responsive owner in case there are any issues, but it's also nice having a good property management company taking care of you. As of this review, the house is managed by Tortuga Properties and the service and help they provided was top notch. We don't plan on staying in a North Cap house again that ISN"T managed by Tortuga.
The house is furnished nicely, the pool is heated to perfection and provides a nice combo of sun and shade (if desired) for relaxation after a day at the beautiful beach. And the beach is just a short golf cart drive - or even a reasonable walk - away from the house.
We loved our stay at Magic Po'cean and can't wait to do it aggain!

We have been to North Captiva about 7-8 times, and this was our favorite house so far! The house was very clean and in great condition. The owner was very responsive prior to check in and provided regular updates as the island had sustained some hurricane damage. The property manager was very responsive and accommodating. The pool area was very nice and pool temperature was set very comfortable and warm. The house was very well stocked and comfortable. We can't wait to return!

What a wonderful property! The house is spacious, beautiful, clean and simply spectacular. The host has thought of everything and the home is very well equipped.
The pool was bigger than we anticipated. I do have to mention that it required to have water added a few times we were there and the well water from the hose smells strongly of sulfur.
We absolutely loved our stay at this property and on North Captiva Island.

The owners have thought of everything with this home! It is new & clean & the furnishings are nice. The kitchen is fully stocked, the beds & bedding are very comfortable, the screened in porch with table & chairs & an outdoor couch are cozy, the reliable golf cart was perfect for cruising the island, the heated saltwater pool was a family favorite of ours. There are many extras in the house like additional sheets & pillows, pool toys, sun screen, books, puzzles, umbrellas, etc. The location of the home was perfect, a short walk to the beach.

Our family travels a lot and this house had EVERYTHING we needed. Fully equipped kitchen with all the things we needed. Cindy was so responsive and very helpful. We would definitely come back!!!

Magic Po’cean
The house is very nice, and the pool was great. The kitchen is very well stocked, and I love the Fiesta Ware! I would suggest some safety measures in the bathrooms…the tub was very slippery, and a handrail in the master shower would be helpful. We really appreciated that it was dog friendly!

Beautiful Setting amd Home
This property made our vacation perfect. It had everything we needed, was extremely clean, nicely decorated and comfortable in every way The pool was fantastic and the setting was one of the best on the island, a secluded and ideal location that was still close to the beach and the harbor. Cindy was great to work with, both in communication and accommodation. We can't wait to go back and will be staying here again!

We love this house, the house owner & Tortuga! Everything was great! House is even better than imagined and the pictures don't do it justice! Cindy (Homeowner) has the house stocked so well with so many useful items (coolers, extra sunscreen, aloe, paper products, puzzles & games!, etc!) We can't wait to come back!

My wife and I decided to escape Michigan weather for a few weeks and found Cindy's cozy new home to be the perfect sanctuary. The house is quite charming and even 'cute' as my wife called it, with all of the amenities you could possibly need. We brought our dog and found a special area set aside, inside the fenced pool area, just for her to do her business, along with many other pet amenities.. We took daily walks to the gorgeous beach at the end of the street and enjoyed regular runs to the ice cream shop every night at the other end of the island.
And to top it all off, the Tortuga Property Management team was there for our every need, greeting us at the ferry, moving our luggage, responding instantly to out texts, and regularly checking on us. Quite the luxury!

My wife and I decided to escape Michigan weather for a few weeks and found Cindy's cozy new home to be the perfect sanctuary. The house is quite charming and even 'cute' as my wife called it, with all of the amenities you could possibly need. We brought our dog and found a special area set aside, inside the fenced pool area, just for her to do her business, along with many other pet amenities.. We took daily walks to the gorgeous beach at the end of the street and enjoyed regular runs to the ice cream shop every night at the other end of the island.

The kitchen is a cooks dream with all the items you could possibly need to fix a gourmet meal or a frozen dinner. We all like cook so we had some delicious meals. We also made use of the gas grill. We had a wonderful time and would return in a heartbeat! Cindy was very easy to communicate with and work with! Thank you for a wonderful time on our much-needed sistercation.

Great family vacation
