We enjoyed our quiet and private beach, fire pit space and expansive deck. We also loved the homes proximity to up north Michigan towns and experiences. Check in was a breeze, communication with host was top notch and timely. Listing beat expectations and allowed us to have a wonderful family vacation!

This place is totally awesome! The view is unbelievable. The interior of the house is super nice. Attention to detail for sure when built. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely family reunion in Manistee. The house sits high over the lake and has great views. Plenty of room for four families, including small children. Great beach, plenty of room for the children while the adults tossed a football.

Sorry this took me so long to get to you. Things blew up with school stuff this week. ‍♀️ Here is what I would write:House was nice and as listed. Beautiful views. Very private. Nice decks and fire pit area. Kitchen well stocked with equipment and some staples. Comfortable beds. Nice to have 2 laundry rooms (second one in full bath upstairs). Nice to have a full bath on every level in addition to master. WiFi worked well. Ice maker in the basement was convenient. Beach was very private with good space and soft sand. (A little rocky at the shore.) There was a cute book with greetings and info from the owners. Very clean. Drawbacks: (that aren’t necessarily the owners’ fault - just things to be aware of) - as other posters have mentioned, the beach is difficult to get down to/up from, especially for smaller children or older adults. We had to re-dig the hole for the post the rope is attached to because it came loose from the sand due to use. - The mosquitos at night were pretty bad (wooded, Northern MI so not shocking) Make sure to bring your own bug spray or there was some available in the garage.- The cable TV was extremely limited, especially for kids’ shows. We weren’t too bothered, but it’s something to be aware of.- No access to the lower garage so if garage parking is important to you, be ready to drive up/down the steep driveway. Overall, we were happy with the space, amenities & location and would go back!
