Yes, a good family weekend.

My family came here for a long weekend over the Christmas holiday and had a great stay. We had trouble with the wifi and a few of the dishes in the cabinets were dirty, but other than that, our stay was perfect. The hot tub was great. The cabin was well stocked. It was the perfect size for a family of three.

We wanted to take our daughter skiing and rented this cabin because of its close proximity to big bear ski resort. We loved everything about this cabin, it is definitely worth five stars and we would recommend it to anyone looking to rent near the ski resort. The Jaccuzi and fire place are great additions and the kitchen has everything you need. Thank you!!

Great location. Great cabin. Jacuzzi was awesome. Driveway was completely iced over. Was sketchy even with 4 wheel drive....let alone trying to walk on it. The cabin has an awesome fireplace. Bring your own firewood. They don't supply any. I expected that the cabin would have been stocked with firewood for the season. Charge $10/night more for the place... Didn't enjoy spending our leisure time driving around looking for firewood....and you HAVE to have a fire at a cabin in the snow! Would I rent this again??? You bet!

Don’t like they tried to fine me for noise at 3/5 pm daytime when the rules stated quiet time is from 10pm to 7am

I read many of the reviews and checked out all the images. I felt like we got what we expected. We chose this due to the number of sleeping areas (enough for us and our two teenage kids), bathrooms (2 full), hot tub, and slope in the yard to sled if it snowed.
We were able to enjoy a full day of snow on Monday. Like the listing suggested our kids were able to sled down the backyard slope as well as the front yard area.
Details:
*In the listing, it says patio heater (we did not see this).
*Hot tub was great. We liked that you could smell the chlorine, but there was a tan dirty foam bubble that blanketed the top of the water. We scooped it off.
*Beds were not as comfortable, but we read this in the reviews. I could tell in the master bedroom they added a foam top which made it a bit more comfortable than the spare room. Coach bed you could feel the springs and doesn't make for a comfortable night's sleep, even for a teenager.
*Fireplace was AWESOME. It doesn't say in the listing, but it is a wood-burning fireplace, so bring wood (they sell at the management company for a reasonable price). The best part is the cleaning crew will clean out the ashes.
Bring:
*Clothes detergent if you want to use the washing machine. It says on the check-in that the management company provides clothes detergent for the washing machine, but I didn't see any. I am sure if you ask the management company they would provide it.
*Ziplocks or another type of food container if you plan on making a meal and saving any leftovers. This kitchen is fully stocked with any type of cooking pan, cup bowl plate, etc, but no food storage container that we could find.
*Shampoo/Conditioner. They provide a 3 in 1 product, which is great, but may not be what you are expecting.
*Sled if it snows.
OVERALL: We had a blast and enjoyed staying in this small cabin. Liked the location (walk to Bear Mountain and not a busy road) amenities, and not too far from town.
If you are coming when it snows, bring chains or 4 wheel drive. We had 4 wheel drive and it was easy to get up the street but others with chains struggled to get up.

Although the place has nice qualities, the cons outweighed the good experience. The biggest reason I rented this place was for the jacuzzi. There was so much chlorine in the water, we could only handle 15 minutes before having irritated skin and had to get out to immediately shower. We purchased a test kit the following day and it was dangerously high at 9ppm. Biggest disappointment by far as the jacuzzi was unusable during the duration of our stay. Based on the cleaning fee we pay, it wasn't up to par. We had to go out and purchase our own hand soap for both bathrooms, long black hair was found in the shower and all over the bathroom floor. No toiletries either, so bring your own. Water didnt drain well in the main bathroom and when we tried to shower at the same time, the water turned cold in less than 60 seconds. There is a washer dryer but no soap or dryer sheets. Upon arrival, we had to shovel a pathway to get from our vehicles to the front door (it snowed a few days prior to our arrival). Overall, the place was cool and had plenty of dishes/pans, and central heat, but the lack of cleanliness and over chlorinated jacuzzi led me to leave this type of review. We had to do all of our own dishes, take all trash to an offsite location (no extra trash bags provided except the 1 already inside the trash can). Ending on a good note, if you snowboard/ski, you can walk to the mountain in about 10-15 minutes.

Great place, but there's almost no hot water. Our showers were literally one minute because that's how long the hot water lasted. Spa had brown scum in it. Kitchen table and chairs were completely dirty. There was some salsa stuff dried on one of the chairs, crumbs on the others, looked like it was never cleaned prior to our stay. I usually never leave negative reviews, but I think these are things that could be easily fixed and the place would be great.

This place was relaxing and exactly what the listing described. The properly management team were one of the highlights smiling and making your check-in feel like you were a reoccurring guest, they were great.
Down side if snow on the ground you need chains on your tires (thankfully we did). Our car was hit in the driveway and back half smashed into a snow bank late on 1st night from a hit and run after they hit neighbors car too..
Even going through that nightmare we would come back in spring time or whatever. The neighborhood is lovely minus the drunk drivers on a holiday weekend.

A quick getaway!
Checking into this cabin was quick and easy. The deck is amazing and the hot tub feels very private. The cabin was pretty clean, but a little dusty in some areas. By far the least enjoyable part of the cabin, for us, was the mattresses. They were very uncomfortable and I wouldn’t recommend this cabin to anyone with any sort of back problems. It was really hard to get a good nights rest. Despite that, the cabin overall is pretty nice.

Great location, nice deck, everything worked properly. I do think an upgrade of kitchen appliances and tools would be much appreciated. Overall, had a great time!

An OK Property with nice deck and convenient location.
This property is in a nice location. It has a large deck with a hot tube which was our primary reason for selecting it. It met our expectations for spending lot's time outside during our weekend stay. The quality of the furnishing and the beds are just OK.
Property management team was easy to deal with and we were even able to check in early. However, they could pay a little more attention to cleaning and maintenance. There is a broken towel rack in the bathroom (a cheap and easy fix) and we found someone's stray sock behind one of the bedroom doors. The house smelled very strongly of smoke....I suspect the fireplace flue may not draw properly or perhaps a previous renter did not open the damper.
