A place to stay while visiting local family, but not to spend time in. Chose this property for its proximity to local family and its size (adult son and myself). Liked that there are two bathrooms along with two bedrooms. Kitchen is stocked with basics, no dishwasher. The driveway is narrow and suitable for only one vehicle. House is older, but adequate and was quite clean. Location and yard not suitable for smaller children due to street proximity and slope. The door key pad did not work, but the property manager was immediately responsive with access to a key.

Stay was great! Hosts and company were wonderful. Would definitely stay here again. It was a smaller house but with a ton of space for our family of 4 plus our dog. Amenities were great!

The property managers were great to communicate, and made check in and check out very easy. The house had all of the necessary amenities and was super comfortable. There were tons of people walking their pets around the lake in the area, which was also very attractive.

Great house, all amenities up to par. Turned out to be the rainiest weekend, but the house was perfect for family entertaining, even when the heat went out, heaters were supplied to keep us cozy.

House was perfect for a family looking to explore Asheville and surrounding areas. Very close to downtown Asheville, Merimon Avenue (with lots of restaurants) and highways to take you elsewhere. Great for a pet as next to Lake Louise which is nice for a morning or evening walk. Owner extremely responsive with any issues with house or questions and overall very nice place to spend a vacation. Would def stay here again.

My extended family and I spent a few days here over Thanksgiving break. We loved how clean the place was, the thoughtful decor and the amenities. Having a whole driveway available to park our 3 cars was also a plus! The property is walking distance from a cute lake, a trail, and a playground that my daughter enjoyed. It is only 10/15 minutes to downtown Asheville!

Overall a decent VRBO. Only issue was the third bedroom was a bit oversold with a very small bed…the dishwasher was inadequate but otherwise the house was clean, warm and convenient!

Very peaceful location we took walks around Lake Louise and around the neighborhood. Only 12 minutes to Asheville. Loved the house it was set up with everything we needed. We will be back!!

We loved our stay at this property which was fully equipped with everything one would need in a home away from home and our dog loved the yard! The property is well located within walking distance to a lake and downtown and the neighborhood is really pretty. We highly recommend this property.

The place was very cute. Very nicely decorated and recently updated. The porch was awesome for reading and drinking coffee. Kitchen was great. Very clean place and great communications with property management.

Loved this cute bungalow. It was very clean and they had instructions how to use everything in picture frames, which was really nice. The location right near the park was perfect for me to walk my dog. I’ll definitely stay there again!

Home Away from Home
Great respite while our family was recovering from a major home casualty loss. Dogs were happy and we had needed peace and quiet. Well appointed home. Top quality throughout. Only glitch was the door key code but the property manager called the owners and they responded immediately. Thank you Brian!

This property was 5 star. We considered taking one star off because we did not receive the access code and had issues getting in initially but the local coordinator was very quick to work to get problems resolved and the owners were very considerate and responsive. The beds are comfy and the kitchen was well laid out and supplied.

This property is newly renovated and set up with travelers in mind. It's in a quiet, hilly neighborhood in Weaverville, just 10 minutes from Asheville. The owners obviously have taken care to make the house comfortable and convenient for guests and they have succeeded. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well-supplied with dishes, cooking equipment, a nice selection of spices; TVs in every room (we never turned them on), a comfortable covered side porch that was perfect for sitting out in the evening and mornings. Bathrooms were new and clean, and well-stocked with shampoo, conditioner, nice thick towels, hair dryer, etc.
The property has a large, grassy yard, down a slope, which would be perfect for kids to run around or a dog to exercise (we had neither in our party).
The owner/manager were extremely responsive. We had a little glitch getting in (working the keypad for entry) and the owner & concierge responded immediately. Before we checked in, we had asked whether there was a blender in the kitchen and the owner went ahead and ordered one from Amazon that was delivered the next day. The communication was great.
Our cute house was a great homebase for our trip to Asheville and we recommend it highly.
