`This condo was outdated, run down, and dirty. The pictures and reviews were very misleading. Toilets were moldy, bathrooms smelled like sewage. Fans didn't work in bathrooms, and carpets were so dirty and black around bathtubs. Beds were hard & uncomfortable and had dirty socks and trash under them. Windows were so dirty with bugs and cobwebs, you couldn’t open them. The patio chairs were broken, table was so dirty with grease and dirt and the BBQ was really dirty. Couldn’t walk on the pine needles and debris that I had to sweep to go out there. Kitchen had old appliances and accessories and black ants on the counters we had to continually cleans up.
This condo was so disappointing that we left 2 days early. We called the Meredith Lodging and they said they would send someone out to clean!! Really??? Shouldn’t that have been done before we paid good money to stay there??? NEVER using them again…we tried to make the best of it, but just couldn’t finish out our stay. Really put a damper on our Anniversary trip.

Cabin was clean, good location. Definitely dated, but that's to be expected in big bear. Mostly nice, our biggest issue was the mattresses. Extremely uncomfortable, very hard, tough to get a good night sleep on. There were a few other minor issues, downstairs master bedroom door handle was broken, and we weren't able to access the downstairs patio at all because of it. Microwave vent above stove didn't work, a few cabinet handles were falling off. Minor stuff like that. I would Definitely recommend the owner drop a couple bucks and get new mattresses. Aside from that our stay was great. The location is awesome, our kids loved the place

It was good for a family
It was just what we needed. Close enough to the mountain. And on the golf course. So the kids could go outside and play in the snow.

Place was clean and cute. Great location to Bear Mountain. Appliances are a bit outdated and beds a bit stiff but it worked well for the weekend. Nice cabin overall.

We wanted to get away from the crowds and enjoy some family time. Perfect location. Some noise from nearby golfers, but no traffic, music, very peaceful. Thank you for the instruments and telescope. We had a blast. Star gazing was Beautiful.

Dirty carpet (stained all over including the stairs) surfaces greasy in kitchen and dusty in living/dining area Kitchen dining and living room upstairs which required a lot of packing of needed items upstairs. Nice bedroom and bath areas downstairs.

Great property and great location!
My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The house had plenty of space for us. The views from the upstairs balcony were amazing overlooking Bear Mountain Ski Resort, which is within walking distance of the property. The Big Bear Alpine Zoo is also within walking distance and the kids loved seeing all of the animals at the zoo. We will definitely come back again next year.

Not cleaned well
The master toilet overflowed before we arrived and the cleaning crew did not clean it up. We had to call maintenance to clean the carpet the next day. Underwear and socks were found in the master bed. Downstairs bathrooms weren't very clean, rugs on the floor had hair and toilet paper all over them. We found lipstick on several glasses in the cupboards. The house was decent if it would have been cleaned properly and the overflowing toilet mess had been cleaned and reported to the office. Apparently the cleaning crew did not report the toilet mess. The master bath toilet wasn't usable because when you flushed it would start to overflow, so we did not use at all.
