Great location, we had the river view, quite, pleasant, the host was fantastic meeting / greeting us, sharing local knowledge.They had milk, tea, coffee, some basic pastries, cereal and fruit for us - a nice little extra.car parking was available - safe and off the street, great smells from the restaurant next door but it wasn't intruding with noise or anything else.nice view over the stream and local fields, easy walk to tesco / asda, a good location to check out the area.apartment was good, decent kitchen - noting its only for 2 people so the size was appropriate. Two minor issues for the host to look at - the bathroom door wouldn't close properly so it randomly opened with gravity. even if you used the lock.The large sliding door didn't seem to have sealed on the mid point bottom - it just meant you could hear outside noises a little easier - but not yes a little road noise form distance but more so the bird chorus at 04:30. this was pleasant bit nothing much else.Fantastic stay, great location, lovely owner's / hosts - if we were int hat area again we would return.

Ideal location close to country parks with all mod cons for cooking and a relaxing bath. Hosts very friendly and stored our bikes for us. Nice Italian restaurant next door too.

Had a good communication with the owner for check in, the driveway turning was tight especially as cars were parked right opposite it.The property was lovely with milk and breakfast things for us. We did find the restaurant nextdoor a bit off putting because of the smell of garlic bread and the constant noise until 9pm of the fan outside that was the extraction of the kitchen, against the fence must have been the bottle bin as every now and then a load of bottles were tipped in it making a lot of noise, the security light also on all night lighting up the cottage. If you are use to traffic noise then the A616 won't bother you, however we found it loud and not the river side haven we thought.
