Excellent location in the middle of old Nice, can walk to the beach in just a few minutes. Nice quiet communal roof terrace. Room had good air conditioning and a fridge.

There was black mould on the wall in the bathroom. it would have been nice to have more than one room key to allow more freedom. There was no full-length mirror in the room.

We only had one night and wanted something quirky in the old town near the Saleya so my husband and I didn’t need to be glued at the hip and I could mooch while he napped. This hotel ticked all our boxes. Converted town house with more of an Airbnb than a hotel feel, which is what we were expecting. Good sized room and great location!

We came by taxi from Monaco which was a bit tricky as Nice old town is hard to navigate for outsiders, especially on market days. Make sure you get dropped off by the chocolatier LAC on rue Saint-Gaetan, then it’s a short walk around the corner. It’s a little hard to find but maybe check instructions in advance unlike us and you should be fine.

great central location and stylish rooms

We went on a 5-hour Food and Wine Walking tour and when our local guide pointed out her favorite pastry, gelato, and candy shops in Old Nice, they were all within 500 feet of the Rossetti door! It is a short walk around the beach, past the port to the bus station to catch the #100 bus to Villefranche sur Mer. Great day trip for 3.00 euro each. Couldn't ask for a better location! Our room was #5 on the first floor above the lobby. Previous reviews from prior years complained about Street noise. The windows have all been replaced and the room is absolutely quiet when they are closed. Quiet and peaceful breakfasts on the second-floor patio! Michaela (sp?) was a superb hostess and offered us many interesting things to do during our stay! The Bistrot d' Antoine around the corner toward the beach was incredible! Such a wonderful dinner and very reasonably priced (Michaela's recommendation).

As others have stated, the stairs to the first level are steep. But not too big a problem, even for us old people! The hotel is located in a "pedestrian only" zone, so show your taxi/Uber driver Rossetti's location so they can get you as close as possible. We walked only a couple VERY short blocks, so it is really not a problem. We used Uber during our stay.

Great location with good price for quality provided. Friendly staff and large, quality room (at least in our case). Plenty of breakfast and other options nearby so no need for them at the hotel.

Only thing that wasn't good for us was that on arrival the staff didn't hear us ringing the bell, so it took a while to get checked in and we had to call.

It was a lovely, modern room in the heart of old town. Check in was very easy and friendly. And she allowed us to store our bags there for a couple hours after checkout!

Clean, calm/spa/zen feeling- a little oasis in the heart of the bustling Old Nice. Noise from the outside cancelled by very good double glazed windows. Good working Air con. Lovely view from our window with a lemon tree. Breakfast was served in their charming, unpretentious little terrace. Friendly owner and staff.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms were spacious. The decor is muted but relaxing. Had a great sleep. The location is perfect in the middle of the old town. A few minutes walk to the tram and the promenade.

Very few negatives about this hotel. It doesn't have a 24hr manned reception desk. There aren't tea/coffee facilities in the room but there are facilities in the lounge/terrace witch is free for the guests to use. The layout includes random steps where you don't expect them so they pose a bit of hazard if you aren't surefooted.

Great location if you want to be in vieux Lyon. Probably better suited for backpackers or those on a city break; the hotel can’t be reached by car. Lovely breakfast area with a quaint view in the Church tower. We had a large room. Very friendly staff.

Mediocre breakfast (like you will find in most city hotels across France). Noisy rooms and noisy breakfast area (mainly from its own airco system, which is positioned on the breakfast patio). We found the bed in our room too small for two people. All in all we didn’t sleep well (which explains the rather low rating, as a good night’s sleep is quite essential for a hotel), also because we couldn’t find a way to bring the temperature down (not sure if the airco was working properly, but we gave up at some point).

Location was great, close to everything. Superfriendly staff and owner, very helpful, we got to borrow things for the beach. Breakfast was French style but a bit extra; you also got cheese, jam, cream cheese, orange juice, coffee, bread and pastry (the owner even got glutenfree bread for us!). Comfy bed, nice decoration. Very clean, allergy friendly. We would stay here again!

There really wasn't anything negative with the hotel, maybe if anything the room and the toilet area was a bit on the smaller side.

Love the spacy room on the top floor of the hotel. Liked the central place at the old town with a very friendly coffe bar next door.

Next time, I would take the tram from the airport (and not the taxi at cost of Euro 40). There is no elevator at the hotel. Therefore, smaller and ligher laguage is recommended :)
