A great property with amazing uninterrupted views with much unusual furniture and detail which enhanced the ambience and character of the house.The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful which we all enjoy.It was a wet and windy week - but the house remained warm and cosy - boosted by an efficient central heating system. The kitchen was well appointed and all rooms clean as were the bathrooms.The several seating areas allowed us to ring the changes! The Agent and Housekeeper couldn’t have been more helpful, both with queries before and after our stay.A couple of negatives:The shower head in the downstairs bathroom would not fix at height. The narrow lane leading up to and down from the property was very steep and rutted - so we found a better route in, which brought us out opposite the drive of the property.

There are places you visit, and then there are places you truly experience.This house in the Cotswolds was far more than just a stay, it felt like stepping into another time.Nestled in the middle of nature, surrounded by endless greenery and silence, it had the warmest, coziest atmosphere imaginable. Every single detail was thoughtfully curated: soft lighting, beautiful natural materials, timeless décor, and that charming rustic elegance that makes the Cotswolds feel almost unreal.What made it truly special was the feeling of completely disconnecting from the chaos of everyday life. Time seemed to slow down here. Misty mornings overlooking the fields, evenings by the fireplace, the sound of birds in the distance, and the simple joy of sharing meaningful moments with the people you love.A rare, authentic, almost magical experience.One of those places you never really leave behind, even after you’ve gone home.

BBQ needs an update! Property was clean and beautiful! The access road was a bit tight for our car(SKODA 5 door). Otherwise, recommend the place!

I booked your property for a very special birthday weekend after a lot of research and consideration. Although the property was at the top end of our budget, the photos and description appealed as a luxury venue offering top quality comfort.The location is undoubtedly first class. The house is magnificent but the upkeep, maintenance and presentation of the property and gardens leaves a lot to be desired*the outside eating area under the pergola had obviously not been cleaned for some time. At the outset of our visit on Friday, we had to purchase cleaning products and set about giving the table and chairs a thorough clean before we could enjoy eating outside*the plumbing system needs urgent attention. Each time we turned the cold water on the pipe reverberated noisily. This happened with any usage of cold water, toilets and even the water dispenser in the American fridge. We were all affected by the noise the pipes created after flushing toilets during the night*the ice maker within the American fridge packed up on day one and we were without ice over a very warm weekend. It appeared to be working again at the end of our stay but did cause some frustration for Saturday and Sunday*we were unable to switch off the downstairs bathroom light and this bathroom has no key for the lock* the drawers in the smallest double bedroom had collapsed*apart from the master ensuite bedroom there were no mirrors or waste bins in any of the other three bedrooms
