Staying at The Hut was by far the most wonderful rental experience I have ever had! Tucked away but still close to amenities and trails, the place was so perfect for what I needed on my research trip! Colin and Jane went above and beyond to provide everything we needed, and Blue and the hens were great company too! If I got the chance to, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I had a wonderful stay at The Hut and would happily return. The setting is peaceful, private and beautifully maintained, with lovely gardens and easy access to walks through the Common. As an Australian visitor, I particularly enjoyed waking to birdsong, the gentle clucking of the chooks, and the occasional squirrel darting through the garden. My exceptional hosts were warm, welcoming and genuinely kind. They struck the perfect balance of being available when needed while completely respecting my privacy. A couple of minor issues arose during my stay, and both were resolved promptly and without fuss. The Hut was a comfortable and relaxing base for my time in Newtown, and I left feeling more like a guest than a customer. Thank you, to The Hut hosts, for such a memorable stay.

This is a lovely little cottage on a peaceful patch of land in the middle of a large park. The owners were lovely and the surroundings are magical. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
