Great big house in a good location, close to shops and marina. Lovely and quiet. Had all the amenities you needed including big fridge/freezer, big beds, large dining area, washing machine, plenty of bathrooms, plenty parking space and a lovely private garden space for a hot tub rental. Our host was great and had the accommodation ready for us at our planned arrival time. We enjoyed our stay for the week and would recommend it to anyone coming to the solent.

Grove Lodge was the perfect choice for our family of 8 adults celebrating my father's 100th birthday. The ground floor ensuite bedroom was perfect for him. The house was clean and very well equipped. As we had goodcweather we were able to enjoy the lovely private garden. We were met by Lee who was very friendly and gave us lots of useful advice about the area.

Photos on Vrbo make the rooms look bigger than they are, Freezer was frozen and could not be used, the King size beds are singles pushed together, Garden furniture needs updating, garden chairs had green algae on them,Rubbish bins were 3 quarters full when we arrived. The fridge is not big enough for the amount of people staying in the property, The bbq needs updating had to swap the control knobs round to turn it on, we have stayed in better properties for me I think the property is overpriced. We made the most of our family weekend but unfortunately would not return
