Le Petit Chat was in a very old building with heaps of character. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable and with added extras of fridge and tea and coffee making. The bathroom was also quite large and the shower had plenty of pressure. The building is very close to the centre of town and the river. Our view over the old town to the river was delightful. The owner is very welcoming and helpful. She recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner. We enjoyed our conversation with her over excellent breakfasts. There is plenty to do and see in the area so Beaulieu is a perfect spot to stay a few days.
We loved being high up but access is only by quite steep stairs. If you can’t do stairs with your luggage this might be a problem.
