We recently stayed at this cabin over Thanksgiving and overall, it was a really good experience.First off, the cabin itself was lovely—very clean, and the hosts were super responsive whenever we messaged them! They even helped us with a delivery and offered some nice add-ons like delivering firewood, which we really appreciated. The house was spacious and fairly well-equipped. There were not lot of extra towels or things like paper products, cleaning supplies, wtc. So if you’re staying for a longer visit or have a larger group (like we did), definitely bring some extras along.There were a couple of amenities we were excited about that just weren’t working during our stay. The hot tub was unfortunately cold and not usable, and the main fireplace didn’t have gas, so we couldn’t use that either. We discovered these issues on Thanksgiving Day, and of course, we didn’t expect the owners to fix them on a holiday. It’s just worth noting that those things didn’t work. Still, the hosts were great otherwise, and everything else was pretty much as advertised.The beds were comfortable, the fire pit was lovely, and the river view was absolutely beautiful. One heads-up: the driveway is pretty steep, so if you don’t have a truck or four-wheel drive, just be prepared for that.

We had an amazing time staying here. The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. All of the beds were comfortable. The deer roam all throughout the neighborhood and I even got one to take some apple from my hand. We enjoyed taking a cold plunge in the river and then warming up in the sauna. There is a hot tub, but we did not get around to using it. We hope to come back to stay when the water is a little warmer so we can go tubing in the river. Eva is very responsive to any texts sent.

This was a great vacation! The river in the back was my favorite part. We would hang out in the water almost every day, floating down the river and ending up back at the house. You have downtown Ellijay about 20 minutes down the mountain and Blue Ridge about 35 minutes away. They were both absolutely adorable towns. We opted to buy deer feed and laid some out our first night and woke up to 30 deer in the backyard! It was so relaxing to sit on the balcony with a cup of coffee, seeing the deer, and hearing the sound of the river. What are you waiting for? The mountains are calling!!
