The property was clean and well supplied. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for visiting. The neighborhood is quiet and a 3 minute drive to the shops in Southport. We loved staying!

This house is pristine clean. It is well stocked with everything you could think of, and with things you may have forgotten.
The location is great. It was a little far for us to walk to the waterfront pier. However the drive to everything was quick enough. We visited friends on Oak island, 15 min drive. The ferry to Kurre and Carolina beach was only 5 min away.
Don was a great host. He was easily accessible by phone. We would definitely stay again.
P.s. I highly recommend Oliver's and Emerson for dinner. Carolina Coastal serves a great breakfast.

Very, very clean, extremely well equipped, excellent location making it very easy to get around. the house had more room that what we needed but it was very nice. We decided to stay there because they allowed a cancellation prior to the trip. Since I have health issues, that is a real plus.

The house is in a quite, safe and charming neighborhood minutes from South Port and the beach. The house was clean, comfortable and spacious. This is a great choice!

This property was PERFECT in every way! The location was just right as well. Close to downtown, the riverwalk, and the ferry. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful. Outstanding communication from the owner from the time we booked to the time we checked out. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a stay in Southport!! We will definitely book this house again next time we can get down that way.

Great 3 bedroom in NC with excellent amenities. We were there a week and it was perfect. The home is VERY nice wroth maybe the best mattress I've ever slept on. We used it as a base to explore both NC and SC. Highly recommend.

This was the perfect place for the four of us to stay. We spent a morning taking the ferry to the aquarium, afternoons strolling downtown Southport and evenings exploring the restaurants. This location was convenient for all of this. We hope to return.

We came into town for a wedding and the home was perfect for our down time while we weren't doing wedding things. The owner went above and beyond to give us the "hotel" catering at a private residence. The home was SUPER clean and VERY WELL taken care of and CLOSE to everything in South Port! This was a wonderful 3 bedroom home on a nice quiet street. Close to everything. Wonderfully decorated, comfortable furniture and beds and very very clean! Highly recommend to anyone. The owners were very nice and easy to communicate with!

It was close to the ferry and the Southport pier.We went fishing every day for free and enjoyed swinging in the breeze in the evenings and watching the ships and talking to the locals at Southport pier...perfect! A short drive to the beach, great shops, food, everything close by.The house itself was exactly as described. We truly enjoyed it and would definitely stay here again. Weekend stay
The house was very clean and nicely decorated; the beds were very comfortable. Nice quiet, peaceful street. Although we didn't use it, the back porch and yard were great, would be a great spot to eat, hang out, play cards, talk, etc. No complaints at all!

Owner has gone above and beyond to make sure you have a comfortable stay. There is a very nice screened porch that we used morning and evening as well as a good sized backyard. The home offers a split bedroom plan with the primary bedroom on one side of the home and two good sized bedrooms on the opposite side that would share a large hall bathroom. Great for families with children or couples sharing a property. You even have a carport for your car. The pictures are an accurate representation of this rental although we found it to be even better in person. You won’t be disappointed.

We were so happy with our stay! The house is charming and clean and well furnished. We loved sitting on the front and back porches too. Don was a great host as well. Location is ideal to Southport and the ferry docks. Hope we can return soon!

Perfect location for historic exploring or short drive to beach
This is the perfect location to explore this lovely coastal town. It's just a ten-minute walk to the waterfront or the shops in historic downtown. A 15-minute drive and you're at the beach of Oak Island. The house, which is on a quiet street, was comfortable and immaculately clean. We couldn't ask for more and will definitely book there on our next trip.

Wonderful getaway
Don was a great host, with a clean and comfortable property. Linens and beds were super comfy! Great location within walking distance to downtown Southport. If you go and visit this area, definitely stay at Don's and check out Bald Head Island, which was a wonderful surprise for a place to spend a day! Thanks Don!

Beautifully appointed house with new furnishings & a well stocked kitchen in a quiet neighborhood. Breakfast in the screened porch was lovely - such a pretty back yard and so many butterflies to watch.
Property owners very responsive to all inquiries and really easy to work with.
Very convenient to Southport and the Southern Coast beaches. Easy access for ferries to Bald Head Island or the Ft. Fisher area.
Great to come "home" to during our stay.

This stay was exactly what our family wanted. Very peaceful setting while close to beach and other things to do. The home was beautiful and fully equipped making our stay with kids very easy! Communication with owners was clear and easy. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful beach getaway. A highlight for us was the ferry to Bald Head Island!
