The house was just as comfortable and beautiful as it looks - and very convenient to all of the Christmas festivities downtown. It was such a peaceful and lovely place to be.
The host anticipated all of our needs and was timely and communicative. It was just as home stays should be, and we’d stay again in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful time at the Designer Getaway. The house was in great shape and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace where we could just hang out with a glass of wine, the hot tub and the fenced yard for our pup. It is very convenient to Dahlonega, the wine tastings and the beautiful parks for walking. We definitely want to come back soon.

We loved the place. It was very spacious and had all of the amenities described. We especially loved hanging out by the pit door fire place. We recommend staying here!

This home was perfect for our short weekend visit to Dahlonega. Close to town made it a perfect spot for a short visit with my daughter and her 2 young children. We could hike, visit the gold mine, shop and grab dinner and still have a quiet, lovely and beautifully decorated place to spend the evening. The home was cozy and clean and even had coffee pods for our morning coffee! Thank you for thinking of the little things. We enjoyed it and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

This property is neatly tucked away giving you a feeling of being almost completely isolated, but only 4 mins away from downtown. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in what we consider the most beautiful scenery in all of Georgia.

My husband, our small pup and I stayed here for his birthday weekend. The home is exactly as described, it is a peaceful oasis surrounded by forest. The home was very clean and had anything you could possibly need. The hot tub was nice and the outdoor area was very relaxing. The proximity to downtown Dahlonega was so convenient.

My husband and I have wanted to visit Dahlonega for more than a year. We finally made the time this past weekend. Our cabin was close enough to town to make several trip a day, if needed. However it felt secluded enough to relax in the outdoor space and just chill. The interior was clean and tidy. Decorated enough to feel cozy and at home but still feel like vacation.

My husband and I loved the hot tub and the back yard! The Master suite bed/bath was perfect. We really appreciated that we could bring our cocker spaniels. Having a fenced in back yard was amazing and unexpected.

This place was a surprise. The pictures don't do it justice. Very open, bright, great fall view. The outdoor fireplace and hot tub were amazing. Clean in every way!

This was the perfect spot for a lovely weekend getaway. It was close to town but had a quaint secluded feeling with beautiful views of the woods. It was cute inside, clean, and had plenty of space.

We really enjoyed finding this place for our trip to Dahlonega as vendors in the Gold Rush Festival 2022! The place was very cute and well decorated. It had excellent views of the fall leaves out of the floor to ceiling windows that encompassed the entire house.
While it was smaller than anticipated, I feel like the owners did a great job with the space. Our only complaints were that the second bedroom was small, the fridge was loud, and the ice maker was subpar.
We did appreciate the outdoor fenced in area for the dogs and felt the kitchen and living room area space was utilized very well. And also appreciated that it was less than a 10 minute drive to downtown. Would definitely rent again!

Great location, 1/2 mile from Accent Winery and very close to several wineries. The house is so very surprising, from the outside it looks like your typical little cottage, but inside it is stunning. The living room, dining room and kitchen are one large area that is decorated flawlessly and comfortably. The two bedrooms were also furnished extremely cute and the beds were comfortable. The hot tub was very large and clean. I wish it had not been raining so that we could have enjoyed the back of the property with the grill and outdoor fireplace and seating area. I would definitely recommend it.

I hosted Christmas here for my grown children. The location was fabulous for extended family to visit for a meal--and to Dahlonega. The house is beautifully remodeled with grand woodland vistas. The backyard has great outdoor space and a fenced yard. The kitchen had everything needed for a complicated meal! Everything felt brand new! I could not stop raving about this place while there. Hope to be back in 2022.

The backyard has great outdoor space and a fenced yard. The kitchen had everything needed for a complicated meal! Everything felt brand new! I could not stop raving about this place while there. Hope to be back in 2022.

Kitchen had everything you would need to make a few meals. All of the small appliances were brand new. From the new furniture and TVs and hot tub, it was exactly what the photos show. The only odd part is the $1,500.00 deposit. I didn't mind saving $35.00, but they do offer a damage policy for $35.00 instead of posting the deposit. The views are great from the floor to ceiling windows. Location was a great spot to hit the hiking trails or Helen. We will definitely stay again.
