I stayed in this cabin with my sister, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Everything was as described; clean and ready for us. We grilled nearly every night and enjoyed the walk into Alden for ice cream after supper. We had all of our suppers and some breakfasts out on the patio. We did have to sweep away quite a few small leaves each time, but that was not a big deal. We could hear traffic noise, as some others have mentioned, but it wasn’t bothersome to us, a sir was in the opposite side of the cabin. We ran a white noise app on my phone at night and that took care of any disturbance of our sleep. The cabin is very cozy and comfortable. We would’ve liked a little better lighting. We moved a lamp from the bedroom to play games at the table. The lamps were quite dim and hard to read by. We enjoyed time swimming in Torch Lake as well as Grand Traverse Bay, not far away and has a nice beach. Paul was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Although not right on Torch Lake, this cabin is an easy walk down a hill to get to a quiet sort of residential road that leads to several public access points as well as Alden. A nice little place to stay at a good price.

This was a perfect cabin! It had everything we needed and was in a very convenient location just a few minutes from downtown Alden and Torch Lake. The host was very welcoming and helpful! My family rented the sister cabin as well and it was great! We definitely will be renting there again!

Place was adorable in a great location, could walk or ride our bikes in like 5 minutes to downtown Alden for meals and shopping. Beach access walking distance, could actually see the lake from our backyard. Place was clean and cozy, small but had everything you’d need and was decorated cute. Good kitchen, TV, WiFi etc. Firepit outside with wood and patio set. We rented pontoon from MK which was less expensive than the other places and the boat and service was perfect. Dinner and nightlife in Bellaire was fun, outdoor concerts at brewery and dinner and Toonies was best. We loved the burgers at the Alden Bar too and Bloody Marys at the Alden Muffin Tin were great! We played golf at the Centennial which was never crowded and just 15 min away. My only complaint was the mattress had a big low point in middle so it definitely needs replaced. Hosts were really nice with recommendations and quick to reply. I plan to stay again. It’s attached to another cabin so it’d be fun to rent both with family or friends.

Great getaway, great fishing. The cabin was fully stocked with all we needed. It was very clean. You can walk to the town of Alden. I would definitely consider coming here again.
