We stayed at this location the week between Christmas & New Years to visit family, and unfortunately not even 2 weeks later an unexpected death brought us back to the area. I booked this listing Saturday for Monday, so with short notice and I booked it for an estimated time we’d need to be with the family in Jacksonville. When booking, I was emotional to say the least and didn’t note how many people would be staying. Nichole reached out immediately to double check so there were enough toiletries for the group. She was extremely thoughtful and helpful with info about rentals near us for more of the family since we loved the location. The house was clean again and has everything we needed, and we were so thankful it was available on such short notice. We will always stay here if it’s available whenever we visit Jacksonville.

This stay was clean and comfortable. I generally struggle to sleep well when I’m not in my own bed (and I struggle even IN my own bed if we’re being honest) but I slept like a rock. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. There were basic housewares and I can understand not leaving tons of spare rolls of paper towels, TP, garbage bags because of course people will take them. The only thing we could have used was a toaster, but wasn’t something we couldn’t live without. The condo is right at the end of a culdesac on a quiet road with awesome river views, it was one of 4 units in the townhouse style building so there are units attached but I never heard any noise from neighbors. Most people on the street seemed like residents but I only saw one or two people the entire time we were here. It’s less than 10 minutes from any store you could need and was only about that distance from my brother (marines corps) and sister-in-laws house. We ate at the Kettle Diner, not even 5 minutes away and it was delicious. We had no issues getting in and felt completely safe and comfortable here. Will stay again as with a new baby in the family living close by, we will be visiting the Jacksonville/Camp Pendleton area as much as possible. It is close by to an airport and military base if you’re not visiting as a military family, so there are lots of planes and helicopters you see and hear but none disturbed the peace of this place.

Kitchen not complete, I had to buy pots to cook Xmas dinner. Bathroom upstairs ok but dark, towel hanger very fragile. Overall based on all properties I’ve stayed this is very poor but I’m thankful anyways.

Convenient location for visiting our Marine. Great nature trail close by and the bike path off of Montford Point was great for running.

I booked this home for my visiting family. The booking process was so smooth. The check in was easy. The property itself was immaculate and decorated beautifully. My family and I loved every part of the home and decided to book it whenever they come back to visit! Quiet, cozy neighborhood, as well! I cannot recommend this place enough!

Everything was good got to spend time with my marine son, priceless.

We booked this location because of its proximity to Camp Lejeune. We were also within an hour of Wilmington and Topsail Beach for other fun activities. This property was missing a few small convenience items, but we knew that it was recently added to the vrbo family and expected this. :) We purchased the missing items and left them at the property. There is a garage, but it was filled with construction items and not available. I would also suggest installing a washer and dryer. A dishwasher is also installed, but dishwasher detergent would have been another purchase had we chose to use it, along with additional garbage bags. A checklist would take care of these issues. :) Also, the house is supposed to sleep six, but the full bath has one towel rack and the living room would not accommodate six people. I purchased an over the door hanging rack for additional towels. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Be careful of the family of deer that come out at night as you drive back to the location. :) Coming from PA, this is not an unusual sight. :)

We absolutely loved staying here! It is located in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view. Upon entering the house, we were blown away by how clean and new everything looked. The property was the perfect size and location for a peaceful weekend getaway. Nichole was super friendly and easy to communicate with about check in and when we decided to extend our reservation. We will definitely be staying here again, it was amazing!
