This house was so beautifully decorated and cozy. It had everything we needed such as nice towels, toiletries, dishes for cooking and eating, and even throw blankets for cuddling.
That made our stay so pleasant and relaxing! I will be staying here every time I return to St. Louis .

We were in the area due to a family emergency and needed a place to stay on short notice. Mimi was great to work with, and the check-in process was simple.
The house was immaculate and has obviously received some tender loving care. Appreciated the ample parking space.

This is an amazing property with all the amenities, excellent location and wonderful hosts. It was even decorated for the Holidays, which was a lovely touch. We hope to stay here again!

The house was perfect for a weekend getaway in the city, and it was very comforting for us to have such a welcoming place for our toddler to romp around in and for us all to sleep solidly after a day spent exploring.

Our hosts were so thoughtful! This aesthetically pleasing home had everything we needed conveniently located. We were able to use the pristine kitchen to make desserts for our family in the area. Access into the house with a wheelchair was very easy, no steps. A shower chair was provided (small step over into the shower). The design is very clever being able to work in the kitchen while visiting with those in the living room. The location has many activities within 10-20 minutes like Powder Valley Nature area (8 minutes). We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood. The bed was luxuriously comfortable. This is a very bright, cheerful and very clean place to stay. We are definitely hoping it will be available the next time we visit.

Our stay was fantastic! The home is lovely and well appointed. The beds are quite comfortable. The pull out sofa would not likely be comfortable for an adult, but the kids did not seem to have any issue sleeping there. The neighborhood was quiet and is conveniently located to shopping center and restaurants. We have been spoiled and never want to stay in a hotel again! Highly recommended!

This house is a very nice place, and has all the little things to make it feel like a home (confortable bed and pillows, nice decorations, good TVs and Wifi, even snacks!). Mimi the host is very responsive, too.

Had a fantastic stay for the long weekend. Kids really enjoyed the complimentary snacks, tent, and pillows that looked like dino nuggets. AC worked well, we keep it cold at night, so we slept like angels. Lots of great things to do nearby with the kids. House was perfect for our family. We will return next year!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Cottage. It was super conveniently located near the highway and downtown Kirkwood. The kitchen had everything we needed for a few nights stay. And the beds were comfortable.

This is our first time renting a Vrbo. We were visiting our son and his family in St Louis and need a place to stay and use as our home base. This place was perfect. Homey, nicely furnished, all the need amenities. Even a jar of homemade jelly on the counter for us. Mimi or host was great and stayed in contact with us through our stay to make sure we had what we needed. We will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful 2 bedroom/2 bath house! Quiet neighborhood. Perfect for our long weekend.
The location is close to Grant's Trail so we took the opportunity to go for a walk one day when then weather was ideal.
Large kitchen stocked with everything needed for cooking in - which we did after stocking up on groceries at a nearby store. Again, great location!
Separate dining area and table was excellent for eating and playing a game of cards. :-)
Overall, great little house (bigger on the inside for any Dr. Who fans), off-street parking, well lit outside, comfy beds, wonderful feel to the whole place!
Mimi was great to communicate with and made the whole process so easy! I would rate these hosts as excellent! I will be staying again when I am in the area!

We were lucky enough to rent this wonderful home for a family getaway over the weekend. The home is clean and well maintained.
The neighborhood is safe and quite.
It is only about a 2 blocks from places to eat and shop. Just a few minute drive to the freeway and only about 15 minutes from downtown St Louis.
Mimi is very easy to contact and was more than hospitable throughout the entire stay. She put out snacks for the kiddos prior to arrival and provided delicious homemade apple jelly for me, along with a very sweet personalized note.
This home truly has everything you need to make for a perfect stay. Thank you so much for sharing your home with my family. If ever in the neighborhood again we would definitely love to stay here.

We love Kirkwood and used to live there! We visited for a wedding and brought our 2 year old. Mimi’s house was perfect for our little man to play - he especially loved the house toys, tent and stuffed dinosaur pillows. The house was adorable, clean, and fully equipped. Mimi was extremely responsive and sweet. We would definitely stay again!

This is one of my favorite places to stay. We were here for a family wedding and returned to the little blue house for our second stay this year. We were not disappointed. Mimi has thought of everything. The house is clean, comfy, and well-equipped with anything a guest might need. My four kids and I were able to relax between our busy family events and were easily able to get anywhere we needed to go due to the good location. Her communication and preparedness is very helpful! Excellent house!

Rented this house for my parents while my dad was having a pretty complicated knee surgery that required him to stay in STL for 3 weeks. Mimi went above and beyond to make sure they had everything they needed & even helped my parents out with my dad’s recovery process. I’m pretty sure my mom and her will stay in touch for years to come. The house was extremely cute, clean & comfortable. I wasn’t worried about the chance of infection like I would have been if they had to stay in a hotel. The house has anything and everything you would need and is just blocks from all kinds of restaurants all & shopping centers. (Walmart is 2-3 blocks away). It located in a safe, clean nice neighborhood. The drive to the hospital was only 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. We look forward to renting this house again in the future for his next surgery or visiting family in the STL area.

The house is nicely furnished and supplied, and comfortable. It’s very close to the highway, which is convenient and noisy but that didn’t bother us. The owner was very available and helpful. There was a playground right down the street

I traveled to town with my husband, daughter who was graduating college and her family including 2 young kids.
The host was in great communication about check in and answred any questions I had, left a warming welcome letter and a nice congratualtions for my daugher, my 1 1/2yr old grandaughter LOVED the dinosaur pillows the hostess and her daughter had made for their little visitors. The house was super clean and nice. Ideally located to shopping, restraunts, Downtown St Louis (and extended family)/ We had always stayed at hotels when visiting in the past, but we are going to leave that in the past. The entire experience was absoultely wonderful. We felt very welcome and comfortable there. All the rooms were very nice size, bigger than I had expected. Highly reccomend the blue cottege -

This was a great place to stay for our annual trip to St. Louis for the Renaissance Festival. The house is really a home. Lots of little touches that make a difference. Bottles of water, a few snacks, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, enough room to sit together and enjoy time together. it is decorated well and even has heated floors. This will be our new "go to" home for the Festival in the future. Mimi was easy to communicate with and answered my questions quickly.

This little bungalow is so cute, clean and convenient to shopping and restaurants. We were able to get downtown for a conference in less than 20 minutes. The owner even left a nice note and homemade apple jelly!

My family of 5 had plenty of room and enjoyed our stay. Mimi is just wonderful and she has the place set up with pretty much everything you need! I think my only complaint would be a bigger TV :-). Thanks again Mimi for the great home and hospitality.

Our stay at Mimi’s home in Kirkwood met or exceeded all expectations. Mimi made contact before we were set to arrive and communicated clear instructions about check in. She made herself easily available if we were to need anything. Also, upon learning we were bringing my two year old, she offered to set up a pack and play and take out a high chair. She also set up a fun little play area for my little one. Upon arriving to the home, everything was very clean and well organized. The kitchen was stocked with the necessary appliances and more, and it was outfitted with snacks and water. Many drawers, power switches, and cabinets were labeled for easy navigation. Plenty of towels and linens were available as well. There was plenty of parking space for our two vehicles. A Target is just around the corner, which was extremely convenient when we needed to grab some groceries for breakfast and dinner. The location of the home was approximately 15 minutes away from the Zoo which was the main reason for our short trip to St Louis area. Kirkwood itself seems like a fun town with lots to do and experience. We would definitely book again as I would be confident in a great stay.
