The cabin was above and beyond what we expected. We really enjoyed our stay. The whole cabin was spotless with beautiful views everywhere. Instructions were easily accessible for WiFi, hot tub, etc. The kitchen had all the necessities. The beds and couches were very comfy. Grocery stores within a 15 minute drive. Added bonus, there are some great Mexican restaurants in the area as well as a Latino restaurant called Guagio.

I have rented many times in the Blue Ridge area so I have a lot to compare to this cabin. My main issue is that it is absolutely NOT dog friendly as there is not a place to walk them. We had total anxiety every time we had to walk them because the only place was just next to the very steep drop off. If a dog slips out of its collar and slips down the mountain there would be no way to get to them back. It was awful. The whole house floors squeak so bad that you heard every move during the night when someone got up to go the bathroom or kitchen. Just generally walking around when we were up was annoying, The fireplace was very disappointing. It was controlled by the thermostat and comes on and off by itself. Had this been on the instruction card we wouldn't have had to bother the maintenance man. The light over the kitchen sink and counter were both out and could not be fixed when the guy came the second time which made it difficult to food prep. There was no light on the porch so we couldn't see out there at night at all. Our upstairs toilet kept backing up making the guests have to travel all the way down to the basement during the night to use that bathroom. Somehow that cleared up on it's own. The hot tub smelled like mildew. No one wanted to get in due to the smell. The wood chair in the living room is awful for banging a knee or ankle when getting in and out of and the windows were filthy. I would not recommend this cabin and I hope nobody ever looses their dog down the only availably area to walk them. 4 out of 10 for us
