Nice location, friendly hosts, good food in the restaurant. Nice and spatious rooms even the bottom price class.

Our room had only 2 little windows and was dark quite early.

The restaurant was superp! Had a very good dinner and therefore we stayed for the next evening. We had quiet rooms and the bar and sportsTV-room made us smile

Location central for all ski resorts in the area. Parking directly in front of the hotel. Staff friendly and very competent. Whole section on the menu for vegan & vegetarian, all prepared fresh.

Phone signal sporadic & wifi very slow.

Fantastic staff! Incredibly helpful and responsive. They even prepared breakfast an hour earlier than usual for me, since I had an early train. The restaurant was fantastic, especially the homemade vegan burger. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The location, while a bit rural, was beyond beautiful (as is the Allgäu in general).

Personally, I find the start time of 8 am for breakfast to be a tad late. Also, the bathroom was quite cramped, but these are tiny complaints for an otherwise wonderful hotel stay.

The atmosphere

The breakfast was really good and the hotel surpassed the expectations.

The location is easily reached, limited parking spots available at the front door. Hotel is clean, staff friendly, breakfast good. They asked to provide breakfast preferences so that they would not have to spill as much food, great plus for me. Location is pretty silent, although the doors seem a bit thin – the walls are like you'd expect in the Alps, very thick. The room was nice and clean, except for some missed spots, but nothing that makes you go ugh.

Nothing I disliked in particular. If you really want diner at the hotel: Wednesdays and Thursdays are the days off, so keep that in mind. Also, if you really want to stay in Sonthofen, keep in mind that his is not IN Sonthofen, but in a small village a few kilometers from Sonthofen.

My daughter and I were very pleasantly surprised by the good quality of this guesthouse. The family room is spacious and actually has two separate bedrooms. Everything was perfectly clean. Parking spaces are just in front of the building. The breakfast was rich and delicious. The staff is kind and attentive. We really enjoyed our stay very much!
