Truly can't say enough about the ocean and beach view from this property...as well as its overall location within Cannon Beach. It was the primary reason we selected the property. The house itself was built years ago...but it has been updated and it was very comfortable and cozy. The push button gas fireplace was used often and added greatly to the comfort and ambiance. We commented often to each other about how well appointed the kitchen was with good pots and pans, toaster, blender, cups, glasses, etc. Often these can be overlooked items in rental properties....but we had everything we needed. It would have been a nice extra to have a Keurig type coffee pot...but I used the brew coffee pot daily and we purchased a mini Keurig for my wife's preferred flavor coffees....so zero complaints. Property itself was clean and well-maintained. Grounds crew came a few times during our lengthy stay and kept everything looking neat and trimmed. If you are looking for a getaway with big modern walk-in showers and spacious bathrooms...you will need to look elsewhere. There is just so much you can do with older built homes. That said...everything was clean and comfortable. Very comfortable beds and other furnishings. If you are looking for amazing views with great proximity to beach and town....this is it.Absolutely stunning views, very comfortable property and we were there for @ 45 days. Loved it so much that we are going back next year for a similar length of stay.

Great that both beds were king size and cozy. Bunks were a bonus. Great appliances and fireplace. High quality linens, nice decorating. Proximity to beach and splendid views add to the experience.

The loction of this house is fantastic! I thought the house could have been cleaner inside. I found many items in the kitchen that had to be washed before I could use them.The bathrooms need some deep cleaning and updating. One bedroom has a closet-the other one does not-so it was hard to store any clothes-especially when the required stay is 30 days or longer.All in all-my family had a wonderful time but I would check out other houses that are right on the beach if I wanted a long stay again.

I have traveled all over the world and have stayed at many 5 star resorts and accommodations. The location of this property is wonderful with great views of haystack rock, close to downtown as well as restaurants. The accommodation itself is not 5 star. At best it is 3.5. The bed, linens, and fireplace are quite good. The carpet needs replacing. The chair in the living room is dirty. There were only 4 cups and 4 bowls available but many plates. The bathtubs need upgrading. The owner is very kind and helpful. In order to rate this property a 5 star, the named upgrades need to be made.
