Location was amazing. Inside was a little dated and just needs a little TLC; cobwebs in corners, little dirty, but the lake view and close proximity to the beach walk-over made up for all of it. We definitely want to come back and stay here again.

The location of this house in the development was perfect and the house was very comfortable.

We had the most wonderful stay at Take It Eeaazy in Carillon Beach! The location truly couldn’t be better—situated right on the lake with peaceful views, yet the beach crossover is basically right across the street, making it incredibly easy to go from coffee on the porch to toes in the sand in minutes. The home itself was very spacious and exceptionally clean, giving everyone plenty of room to relax. One of our favorite features was the outdoor space—two beautiful back porches (one screened-in) that were perfect for morning coffee or unwinding in the evening. The front porch with the swing and rocking chairs added such a charming touch and made it feel like a true beach retreat. One of the highlights of staying in Carillon is being able to hop on the golf cart and cruise around town. We loved riding over for breakfast at Our Little Beach Cafe and grabbing an afternoon adult beverage at The Salty Bottle. And of course, a stop at The Shipwreck is always a must for the perfect little treasures to bring home and remember our Carillon stay.Overall, this home checked every box—beautiful location, comfortable space, and the perfect Carillon Beach experience.10/10 recommend Take It Eeaazy and Carillon Beach for your next Emerald Coast getaway!

Take It Easy was just that for us! We had the best most relaxing week in Carillon! The house itself was the perfect size for our group of 8 — two families with four kids. The house is located right on Lake Powell, 50 steps from beach walkover 6 and the beach pool, and about .25 mile from Lake Powell Pizza and Our Little Beach Cafe, so very convenient! Some things I want to note about the house itself to justify the 3 star review: 1) The exterior of the house could use a good power washing. There are dead bugs all over the porches, and in every roof overhang. Honestly surprised the neighborhood allows this level of upkeep. 2) The screens on the screened in porches are ripped in several places, so they flap and generally look bad. 3) Inside, the house is in similar shape. Every wall could stand to be painted, and the wood floors need to be refinished. 4) All three bathrooms are very small and grungy, again in need of maintenance or updating. The shower head drips in one of the king bedrooms, which is annoying all night long. 5) In the same king bedroom, the bed actually fell apart. We had to request maintenance to repair the slats that were half-hazardly “installed.” 6) There were sufficient pots/pans to cook with, and dishes to eat on, but plan to purchase your own spices, etc.
