We had a good time overall — the place was beautiful, very clean, and the host was extremely responsive. That said, we wouldn’t come back. The layout just wasn’t a good fit for our family with little kids (my fault for not noticing beforehand). The main floor is the master bedroom, then you go up a flight of stairs for the kitchen/living area, and up another floor for the kids/guest rooms. It was a lot of stairs and felt difficult with small children. There are also several beautiful balconies, but no child safety latches, which made me nervous.The amenities were also a little odd. There were things I couldn’t imagine needing (like a turkey baster and THREE ways to make coffee — fun, but a bit overkill), but then no salt, pepper, dish soap, or scrub brush.The biggest issue was that a repairman came into the house while we were gone with no warning. It made me very uncomfortable knowing people could come and go from the house without notice.Also, the doors had locks but no keys were provided. Our three-year-old accidentally locked herself in a room, and we had to wait for someone to come let her out. It was only about ten minutes, but it added to the overall feeling that the house wasn’t the best fit for us.This ended up being our least favorite beach house experience in recent years. That said, I’m sure plenty of people would love it — the communication was excellent, the bathtub was amazing, and the home was very clean. It just wasn’t the right fit for our family.

Beautiful home. Very clean. Greqt accomodations. Be prepared to drive to the beach. It really isn't walkable. If you have kids or elderly family you would need to cross 4 lanes of traffic after you get from the house to the main road. Parking at the beach is a nightmare most days.

Beach access however is challenging. Inlet beach is a nice area with one big challenge - the location is on the North side of Hwy 98. Meaning, you need to drive to the beach or walk about 1/2 mile to get to beach access.While the drive is short, parking is hit or miss. If you have enough patience, you can eventually park. But, when I'm on vacation, I don't want to stress over parking. To be fair, we read the other reviews, and were aware of the potential challenge. So, I'm not trying to ding the property owner. It's tough to recommend the property due ot the limited beach access, but, it's also hard to ding the property because it's a great home in great condition.My honest review.
