A cozy spot if you’re looking for a calm place to land after travels for vacation or work! It was a great spot to come back to while I was in town for a conference.

overall great property, a little challenging to navigate and locate initially although I am from the area and work in the area quite often. Please be sure to follow the thorough instructions that the host provide.Overall, the stay was great inconvenient as I live about an hour away in and met a college friend; we shared the space to celebrate one of our college friends wedding ceremony. We didn't want to hang out all day and night celebrating and then have to drive home and so in that regard, this unit was great and definitely accommodating.I will say that it took a while for the unit to be cooled off , and thankfully the host were very responsive and were able to lower the AC Thermostate while we were away in between the different event events we attended for that dayI believe that the host could do a better job with maintenance of the unit by simply updating the paint in the high traffic areas of the unit or perhaps even use a magic eraser to remove some of the scuff marks on the walls. while most people don't notice these things. I notice them and it really takes away from the quality in the offerings that the host and this property offers. This is the reason why I rated it a four star instead of a five. I believe that the paint should be upgraded or even updated to ensure that there is not only a great ambience, but also a clean environment where the walls don't appear to be "dirty" to those that pay attention to details like myself.

This property was exactly as advertised! The host's communication was great leading up to and during our stay. The property was very clean and close to everything in downtown Birmingham. We would definitely stay here again!

This tiny house apartment is very fresh and new. Homey and spacious for two adults and comfortably furnished. Nice TV and WIFI. It is also convenient to have a washer and dryer in unit. Most necessities are provided, except hand soap. The listing does indicate there are no washcloths; but it mentions toiletries, of which there are only two sample containers of shampoo and conditioner. This is not really an issue, since most people travel with their own shower/bath items. But, hand soap would be great. There is dishwasher soap in the kitchen. One caution: the stairs are not for the older folks or for young kids. The ones up to the bedroom are a bit steep, and the ones down to the laundry and bathroom have no railing and are uneven in height. A little precarious, requiring care and attention and the ability to pull oneself up. We only stayed one night, but the hosts were very gracious about rescheduling that night after UAB changed the date of my husband's procedure. This unit was exactly what we needed, and the rate was excellent.
