Have been renting homes in Ludlow area for 26 years. I applaud the efforts to keep many of the early 20th century features yet updating many features. The 2nd floor with 2 new bathrooms are the stars of the house. The 4 bedrooms on the 2nd floor had nice bedding and retained much of the character of the house. The major weakness to the house was the kitchen. The kitchen is important to our group because we prepare dinners for 2 of our 3 night stays. Also, we make and take our lunches to Okemo. The cabinet boxes were probably from the 1950s with newer doors on the upper cabinets. The lower cabinets had many drawers that slid wood on wood, i.e. without metal slides that are on all newer cabinets. Stove was operable but at least 30 years old with a low powered microwave above. There were nice granite counter tops. Overall I would rate the kitchen 3 stars at best. If you are going to eat out and buy food on the mountain, little of my kitchen comments will matter. The dining room sits 8 but many of the chairs need to be repaired. Overall I'll give the house 4 stars.

Property is very nice, would stay again, very convenient location, everything you need for a ski vacation or get away. My only complaint is the temperature of the shower / hot water - It was luke warm at best, feel like a ski house should have the ability to take a really hot shower . . .

Place was perfect for a multi family group w early teenage kids. Lots of separate space when people need them but big enough gathering rooms for meals and hanging out for game nights. Electrical system is older so limited plugs in bedrooms; Internet didn’t work due to Comcast issues in area week we were there but lots of Roku tvs and wifi router should be fast if Comcast works.
