Everything was great. However a few things have me not giving it a 5 star. One, you don’t see the ocean from the condo unless you are on the balcony and you stretch out to look around the corner. Your main view is the bay which is still beautiful but not the ocean like stated. The other thing is a huge one for me. I was told our resort fee and parking were included (I have messages in vrbo and text for proof) and it was not included and our card was charged almost 500 extra. I brought this to the owner and building managements attention during and after our stay and after going back and forth for weeks they pretty much told me there was nothing they could do. To me this is very poor customer service and I’ve been debating on my review now for awhile and decided this needed to be shared so it didn’t happen to anyone else. Unfortunately this situation has me not wanting to return in the future.

Great location really nice place to stay great communication

Took my family of 6 on vacation to Hollywood FL. The VRBO was exactly like the pictures. Very nice and spacious for our family. StaySol was very responsive both before and during our stay. Hyde Beach House does not put out a "resort" feel. The outdoor pools were nice but not really any different than staying at a hotel. The hot tub was always way too overcrowded. We have stayed at resorts before and would not consider this a resort. We were able to go to the beach and did get chairs and towels but they closed up by 3:30p and took the chairs and towels back which was disappointing. The biggest disappointment was the elevators. There are over 40 floors in the building and 4 elevators. One of the elevators was not working. It took forever to get an elevator, which was always overcrowded if you were even able to get on, and stopped at a ton of floors before getting to your floor. We ended up using the stairs multiple times because the wait was too long and we stayed on floor 20. We had many conversations with other guests about the elevators and everyone agreed that was a real problem and a negative for the stay. Overall the VRBO was nice for our vacation and we had a nice time while we were there but would consider other locations if we came back to Hollywood.
