We (6 college friends in our 30s) had a fantastic long weekend. The house was beautiful and exactly as described. It's at the end of a very quiet street so there's lots of privacy, and it's also a very short drive into Portland and all the activities it has to offer.

This house was perfect, and the property just beautiful. The perfect stay for a group of 7 of us—with property that was beautiful and plenty of room for all. Downtown Portland is just a quick drive away, Nick & Jenna were wonderful hosts, and honestly we can’t wait to come back. We visit Maine often and will definitely stay here again.

Nick and Jenna were exceptional hosts from before we even arrived. Their house was beautiful down to the details and the location/property was amazing. Its a very short drive to all things downtown Portland. Highly recommend, we hope to return again!

This is a wonderful, comfortable home inside and out. It is surprisingly close to shopping and eating options in Portland, but in such a quiet, peaceful residential location that you feel far, far away from bustle. The back yard area overlooking the river is beautiful. Such a relaxing place to hang out, or from which to trek down toward the river bank and explore. We also enjoyed sitting around the comfy living room/kitchen area. Plenty of room for our family to relax and enjoy the lovely setting.

My wife and I have had our home on VRBO and so our standards are high. This home, its location and owners exceeded them. 7 min car ride to Commercial Street and Old Port. Lots close by. A five day stay - cooked in, enjoyed the house, the yard and the wildlife, lots of sightseeing, cooked in a fair bit (kitchen has everything) and owners offered all kinds of great suggestions. I count on reviews when I book so u can count in this one

This was a beautiful and peaceful home for our family to be together. Utterly spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable.. Our hosts Jenna and Nick went above and beyond to communicate and offer wonderful places to dine and visit in the Portland area. They could not have been nicer. Highly recommend this home.

Our adult family of four stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the property very much. Lots of room and a comfortable living room with plenty of seating. The outside property is gorgeous. While we didn’t get to spend much time outside due to the weather, we had fun enjoying the view. The home is well equipped and very clean. It’s lovingly improved and it shows. Very close to downtown Portland. Nick and his wife were accommodating and communicative at all times during our stay. We would highly recommend!

Our hosts were the greatest, so full of ideas & information on the area, excellent, personalized & prompt communications, & helpful with our special request…well connected! The house is really nicely decorated with a great basement game room, & oh the views out back…wow! It’s so conveniently located to so many great local things to do, & local shopping & restaurants. I came to Portland with my husband and friends and this house was perfect for us! The downstairs game room is such a nice plus and allowed us to stay in and have some fun. The back

We stayed for three weeks and could have stayed longer! We worked from “home” and enrolled our kids in a summer camp 10 mins away. Our kids are ages 3, 3, and 5. The details made the trip. The kids loved the swing. We loved that the water was just far enough for the adults. We swam in the river often, rented a kayak for the week, ate all the lovely food in Portland and nearby, went to the beach 20 mins away… and stayed in this place with phenomenal views. Everything was super clean, impeccably decorated, yet live-able with 3 small children! Thanks so much! We will be back!

This is the perfect Maine summer getaway spot. We were close to town, hiking and other activities we wanted to do. The house is spotless, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The outdoor area was so fun and also nicely set up! If I had a question the owners were quick to respond and they gave us some awesome recommendations! You can tell they love their home and their city! Thank you again!

Very nice house and garden, on a river. Located in a quiet neighborhood 15 minutes outside Portland. Owners were easy to communicate and helpful.

House was exactly what we needed for a trip with 6 friends from high school to enjoy Portland's brewery scene. Game room was definitely a nice amenity even if shuffleboard was a very touchy game. I would consider this a rave review and just wanted to point out the few small areas of critique. We'd definitely stay again if we were planning to go to portland. Place was very nice and appropriately priced. 1) eventhough we were just outside of Portland proper in Falmouth, getting ride sharing was a bit of a challenge. One night, I just had to drive us out to the Industrial Way Breweries because we couldnt get a ride. Once in the city it was easy. Using your own vehicle it was very conveniently located to 295 and even a supermarket about 5 min away. 2) garbage instructions were a little confusing. There was note of bins for garbage and recycling but only 1 traditional garbage tote outside. We probably didn't leave stuff correctly. 3) water access wasnt great even with a good deal of shoreline. It was particularly steep and though the owners tried to make a little area with some rock steps, Id be very worried about a possible significant fall injury for a child or someone with a fitness issue. If I were them, Id make that area off limits to guest because of liability issues. 4) the electronic lock was a little confusing. I think the instructions were fine. Maybe thats just me showing my age.

We were very impressed with how clean the house both looked and smelled. The pictures looks exactly like the property. It is very well maintaned and a beautiful house. Our 3 year old loved the basement and all the games that were offered. The owners were very easy to communicate with, always available when needed, and provided extremely helpful suggestions.

A great property in a great location. Perfect if you're looking to explore the Portland area as well as get some peace and quiet.

House was immaculate and had all amenities, quiet no outlet street. Also I ran a lot and great routes to run. Traveled with my 5 kids ages 7-14 and plenty for them to do. Loved the game room. Easy trip into Portland and close to airport. Cannot say anything bad about this amazing property.

The house was exactly as advertised and Nick was available to help answer any questions we had during our stay! The house had plenty of space for the 5 total people we had for our long weekend. The house is just minutes outside of Portland, so an easy drive or a cheap taxi/uber if you want to visit the city. My friends and I are hoping to stay at this property again!

We took an all girls trip to visit New England in the fall and had a trip of a lifetime. From the moment we booked this amazing home, Nick and Jenna have been the absolute best hosts we have ever had. The house is not only beautiful inside and out, it is decked with everything you could ever need. Nick and Jenna did not spare any detail to accommodations. We enjoyed nightly fires outside overlooking the river. We tried out several recommended places to eat and visit and none disappointed. We had the bet sleep each night and sunrises at the outdoor bar sipping coffee. THANK YOU Nick and Jenna for being such welcoming hosts and making our trip one we will treasure for a lifetime.

Our family enjoyed a short stay in Falmouth, Maine. Nick & Jenna’s house is conveniently located for an easy drive to Portland , Freeport & other surrounding towns. Their house is beautiful, clean, well stocked with cleaning supplies, linens and other types of kitchen supplies. The house sits up from the river providing beautiful views. We brought our kayaks and took advantage of launching from the bottom of the property. Of course we agreed to use at our own risk as it is very rugged & felt adventurous which we loved. This is a relaxing and peaceful location!
