La atención fue muy hogareña, nos atendieron super bien. El desayuno fue excepcional y todo el personal es muy amable!! El lugar es muy limpio y tiene muchísimas plantas, lo que hace que te sientas mas inmerso en la naturaleza a pesar de estar en una ciudad. Sin duda volvería!

We had a great stay in San José at Casa 69. The staff were so nice and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. Would recommend!

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and went out of their way to accommodate our special requests. The room was small but clean, and had a nice outdoor space with a table and chairs as well. It was conveniently located, safe, and quiet even in the middle of the city. The free breakfast comes with delicious fresh bread.

We had been told that the room would have a fridge, and were counting on it to store our food, but when we arrived we found that it was a wine fridge.

We stayed one night, the room had a private aspect to it and we felt safe (our room was separate from the hotel on the other side of the road). The bed was huge and comfortable. Entry and exit were easy with the security fob. We were able to walk 7 minutes to the National Museum. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed watching the men's Wimbledon final in the (lovely and cool) hotel reception! We liked the proximity to the bar/restaurant at the bottom of the road, meaning we didn't need to walk around at night. Also very close to a secure-feeling ATM.

There was nothing about the hotel we didn't like, it was great for what we needed. The area around it feels a bit run down and the taxi had some difficulty finding it, but that is not the hotel's fault. We tried to use the safe in the room but there was no power in it, however that wasn't too much a problem for our one night stop.

Airport pick up was smooth and efficient and much appreciated as we arrived late at night. Breakfast was good and served quickly. There was a safe in the room and the internet worked.

The room was dirty and uncomfortable. Bedding and towels were not well washed but were well used. I had no hot water in the shower the second morning. There was a fridge in the room as advertised, just no where to plug it in. All round, this hotel was well below the standard I had expected, particularly given the reviews. As we left, I realised that the reason it sounded like we were sleeping next to the train tracks was because we were, as I saw a huge train go along the end of the road! I wasn’t going to bother with a review, but after receiving 3 emails requesting I write a review how could I not?

The hotel is absolutely amazing! It is a close walk to the center and all the museums. Inside is like paradise! It’s decorated beautifully with attention to all the details. The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. The view from the rooftop is gorgeous. Breakfast was generous and delicious!! Pick this one and you won’t regret it.
