Perfect for two people. Reasonable walking distance to core and museums, Neptune Theatre, etc. Hosts were very helpful and followed up on any requests we had

The location of this property is perfect! and the property manager was super responsive. Even getting us a new coffee maker on the spot!

Kevin was very helpful during the hurricane, when power in the whole neighborhood was out for 36 hours. We were very grateful for that.

Pros: Location, parking, amenities, arrival instructions, and size were all good. We were able to walk pretty much everywhere and felt safe in the location. Temperature was good, and it was nice to have fans for individual needs. Surprisingly good windows in the living area for a basement unit. Cons: Unit could have been cleaner on arrival. Hopefully our experience was a one-off but surfaces and floors needed attention. Intermittent issues with the WIFI cutting out. Overall a pleasant stay in a walkable city.

This was a perfect little home away from home - we stayed for 3 nights and had a great experience! The place was cozy, clean and we had no issues checking in. It’s close to downtown. We would 💯 stay here again! Thanks guys!

We were disgusted at the uncleanliness. I phoned owner. He said he had never had no previous complaints. I swept a dust pan full of dirt off the floor immediately.The bathtub had mold and grim. I asked owner to bring us a bath mat because we didn’t want to put our feet in the tub, let alone take a bath. It is a very old building. It was damp.The owner was very nice and obliging. He has cleaners but they are not doing their work. We were given a free night. The location was great.

We were so happy to have somewhere to stay right in the middle of Halifax. We were able to walk wherever we wanted to go. In addition to the wonderful location, the apartment itself was clean and homey, everything was easy to find and use while we were there. It was so nice a relaxing for our evenings. I’d definitely stay there again.

Great area, close to everything we needed. Kevin was helpful and prompt in solving our issue with getting into the suite, and then with providing extra bedding for us. Parking was a little tricky. Internet was quick, shower was hot, bed was comfy! Would stay again for sure!

The picture on the website and the description does really justice to the venue. It was exactly how it was describe. Super clean and comfy. Thank you for Netflix that you made accessible for the guess. Also, we appreciated the welcome note on the board, the follow-up email after our arrival, the coffee/tea that was available upon arrival. All those little attention made us feel welcome. Thank you!

There was no soap in bathroom, no dish soap in kitchen. 1 roll of toilet paper for 2 people for 1 week. Nothing in the neighborhood and a good 20 minute walk to downtown. It was a basement appartment with no air conditioning and only 1 window, which you had to close at night.

Great little hidden gem

Great little hidden gem

This small suite was the perfect little gem tucked away right near downtown. Everything we wanted to do was either within walking distance or a short bus ride. Great for seeing downtown Halifax.
