My sister and I wanted to check out Kansas City and Lawrence. This property was conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood in Kansas City. Looked just like the pictures. Clean. We appreciated the recommendations from the owners. Great trip.

My husband and I brought my parents to KC for the Steve Nicks concert. This location was perfect with access to the best parts of KC and restaurants and shops accessible on foot. The house was perfect for the 4 of us and felt like home. We will definitely be back.

A 120 year old bungalow restored with great taste and good craftmanship. Really a cut above some KC "premier host" VRBO's.

Great little house for a staycation with friends! It had all the essentials and was decorated very cute! We didn’t utilize the outdoor space due to weather, but it was very inviting! Long driveway with space for 3 or 4 cars was also a plus! Host was very communicative.

We stayed here for the Taylor Swift concert. Perfect. 2 adults and 5–18 year old girls. All five fit upstairs. Perfect! Very clean!

My family and I had such a great time here!! We spent both nights out by the fire pit and the tall privacy fence made it feel like we had our own little place in the city. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were cozy and well decorated, the bathrooms were very cute and clean, the kitchen was well stocked and we were close to everything we did! Julie was an excellent host - very kind and quick to respond. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

My girlfriends and I loved our stay here. We had so much fun and this house is in a perfect area! We walked to a coffee shop the host recommended and absolutely loved it! We went every morning we loved it so much. The beds were amazing and the water pressure was great. The backyard was a perfect little oasis. I cannot wait to come back and bring my kiddos. Host was super attentive and easy to communicate with. We will be back!!

So happy we chose this house. We were in town for the AOTA convention. My husband is an OT and our daughter is in school to become one. We brought two of her classmates and it was perfect. They could take the car and I was able to walk wherever I wanted to go. The house was simple and clean. All we need when on vacation. Julie was accessible as needed and very friendly. Would stay again.

This pretty home is a little urban oasis. It seemed that anything we could have needed had been anticipated by our host, from colorful unbreakable dishes for eating on the private patio to an abundance of cozy throws and pillows on couches and beds. Great park just two blocks away, and antique stores and restaurants just a short walk from the front porch. Quiet street in a cute neighborhood with plenty of suggestions from the host for nearby attractions. Would definitely stay again.

We've stayed here two years in a row, from Monday through Friday, and love it! The house, host, neighborhood, central location and area all brought us back! If you love character, charm, kindness, community, having lots of retail, dining and recreation options nearby, this place is for you. Enjoy!!

Easy to find, nice private driveway for parking, the cute courtyard has lightings and dining table and very spacious two floors single house. I will definitely book this rental again if I revisit KC. Highly recommended.

Home was very clean and in a great neighborhood. It ended up snowing and being frigid outside so I was especially thankful for the abundance of pots, pans and utensils to cook with.

Nice little house in West Plaza close to Old Westport and Country Club Plaza. If you’re into dive bars, live music or shopping this area is perfect for you. Getting to and from downtown takes a little driving but once there the KC Streetcar can move you around for free. Accommodations in a 120 year old house are adequate for a family of four. I would have liked bigger beds and a sofa with some cushioning for relaxing after day tripping. Another tip would be to keep wood dry and provide kindling for the outdoor fire pit.

We do a lot of traveling and this is a 5 star stay. Very clean, great location, safe neighborhood and owner was amazing at communicating. House has everything you need and fenced in backyard for our dog. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

My mom and I really enjoyed our stay. The house is gorgeous and has so much character. It was very close to the plaza which is where some of my other family members were staying.
My mom stayed in the downstairs bedroom and she commented on how the owners really thought of everything she might need. She often travels with a fan she can sit on a nightstand just in case she gets hot. She forgot to bring hers this time but there was already one in the room.
I slept upstairs and the bed was so comfortable. I had the best sleep. The area upstairs was large but cozy. I loved being up there.
The house truly has everything we needed and we would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Loved our stay! So easy to rent with this host. We loved the neighborhood, walkable, fabulous location! The house was so perfectly decorated, we felt so comfortable as if it was our own! The beds were comfortable, and everything was so clean! We spent time outdoor on the patio & what a great outdoor space for our dog. Our family of 4 visited KC for a long weekend and this was the perfect place for us to stay. The neighborhood was cute and quiet and the location was great; so close to the Plaza and just a few minutes to Crown Center/Union Station. The house was clean had everything we needed. The upstairs bedroom/bathroom was great for our kids. We’ll definitely be back!

Quiet neighborhood close to the Plaza.
The house was very cute and was just as described online. It had nice landscaping in the front yard, and we felt very safe in the quiet neighborhood. It was very clean and had cute decorations. Bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We didn’t really spend much time on the back porch because the mosquitoes were too pesky, but I’m sure it would be a nice spot for outdoor eating during another season. The outdoor string lights on the front and back porches was nice. It was convenient to be able park in the driveway next to the house to load and unload. The location was close to the Plaza, Nelson-Atkins Museum, WW1 Museum. Literally just minutes away from everything we planned to do over our 4 night stay. Host was prompt with replies and the check in and checkout was simple. Great spot for a couple’s get away.

Highly suggest!!
This was my first time booking a house instead of a hotel. I have a big family, my husband and me, and all our children, ages 5, 7, 12 and 13!! Not only was this house perfect for us, but the location was so nice! It is not on a busy street but it was very close to many of the things we did in the six days we were there!! We were able to park in the driveway also and I like that so my vehicle isn’t on the street. The beds were comfy and the house was super cute! We were able to make meals there and when we needed to give the kids a break, it was perfect. They all had places to go to take a nap or have some quiet time. The backyard and front porch are very inviting and we made s’mores one evening at the fire pit. Anytime I had a question, the owner got back to me right away! I enjoyed every single thing about this property and I highly encourage anyone thinking about this house as an option, to book it now!
