We had a good time here. A large house and yard, bot minimalO furniture other than beds in the bedrooms. Had to keep our suitcases on the floor. The garage area with the pool table, theater, etc, very minimally heated. Kitchen was erratically equipped, some nice pots and pans, but not enough plates so we had to run the dishwasher frequently. I think this house would be great in the summer--wasl fine for us, but not the best in the winter.

This place was so cool! My group and I thought it was such a perfect spot for our two night stay. The amenities were great, kitchen was huge and equipped and the beds were comfortable.

Shala truly lives up to its name as the ultimate oasis. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had stepped into a peaceful, beautifully curated sanctuary tucked away in the desert. Every detail of the space was intentional—stylish decor, calming energy, and thoughtful amenities that made our stay feel both luxurious and grounded. The outdoor areas were especially breathtaking. Whether it was lounging poolside, enjoying a quiet sunrise moment, or unwinding under the stars at night, Shala provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and connection. The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making the entire process seamless from booking to check-out. The location was peaceful, yet still close enough to explore nearby attractions when we wanted to venture out.If you’re looking for a space that offers comfort, beauty, and serenity in equal measure—Shala is it. Can’t wait to come back!

The house is beautiful, spacious, and clean, with a large backyard, pool, spa, and plenty of space to relax. The five rooms and huge hall make it ideal for group gatherings. The serene neighborhood adds to the charm, and it feels safe and welcoming. However, there were a few things that fell short of expectations, which could matter for some guests. Communication was slow, with responses taking over a day, and there was limited control or clarity over some amenities. The spa, for instance, took over two hours and several attempts to heat up, and instructions provided were unclear. Backyard lights couldn’t be turned on, and the lack of hammocks (a key reason for choosing this listing) was disappointing, especially given the stunning views we hoped to capture. The bedrooms had their challenges too, with mattresses being uncomfortably hard, a broken bunk bed, and wobbly bed bases. The pool table had damaged sticks, and while usable, it was not in great shape. Water flow in the kitchen sink was too low, making cleaning and washing inconvenient. This property has immense potential, and with better communication and attention to these details, it could offer an amazing experience. Despite these issues, the house and its location remain a great getaway spot for those prioritizing space, cleanliness, and tranquility.
