The pool needed some attention when we arrived and the owner responded immediately. There is plenty of seating in the pool area and it has a shallow end as well as deep end. There are a lot of spaces in the house to gather and the 2 half baths on the main level were helpful so we didn't need to constantly use the stairs. There are no bedrooms on the main level. The steps into the house in front and in back to go to the pool are very high and might be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. We all enjoyed staying at the house.

Beautiful stay with great hosts on a great property

It wasn't clear from the listing that this is across a parking lot from a large wine tasting facility. The pictures made it look like it was isolated and on its own. We wondered if we were the first renters of the season. Some of the bathrooms were missing hand towels, soap and washcloths. It would be useful to have trash cans in at least all the bathrooms. The landlord was responsive. Overall, it was a good stay.

The bungalow is very spacious and a great size for multiple families to stay in while hosting a wedding at the nearby property. The game room was a perfect hang out space for the groomsmen the morning of the wedding. For a large home, it was very quiet. The Keurig didn't work but we made do with getting regular coffee for the other pot. The door to the laundry area was off its track but we didn't do any laundry just being there for the weekend. Two big reasons for the 3 star rating:The mattresses in all the rooms except the "primary suite" over the game room are in need of replacement. The guests in those rooms didn't get much sleep because of the sagging mattresses and creaking beds resulting from the mattresses being so soft/worn out. The AC in the area with the smaller kitchen and basement bedroom was not working at all. We were able to open some windows to let some cooler air in and it was cloudy/rainy which helped keep it from getting unbearably hot. It would have been miserable otherwise.A couple suggestions:Add some toys/books for children and maybe a "pack n play" or portable crib and a high chair.Provide some outdoor games like corn hole, ladder ball or can jam. The yard is great for playing. Provide a golf cart or 2 to go back and forth to the wedding venue. We rented 2 and they were definitely used a lot. The convenience of being located next to the winery and across from the wedding venue were positives for sure.
