The house was beautiful & well stocked for our family! We enjoyed comforting beds & a kitchen with everything we needed. The staff ensured we were all set, looking forward to returning!

Great overall experience.

Beautiful 4-bed, 4-bath oceanfront home with a private pool and beach"Shades of Blue" was an exceptional choice for our family vacation, ranging in age from 19 to 79. The home's location was perfect, beach-front on the north shore in "West Bay" of Grand Cayman. Well-stocked grocery stores were within 10 minutes by car. The beach in front of the house was beautiful sand with the reef close at hand and nice snorkeling and SCUBA opportunities within 100 yards of the house. When not in the ocean, sightseeing or diving, we enjoyed the very nice pool! The entire property was built for comfort, highlighted by 4 comfortable beds (3 kings and 1 queen) and 4 well-appointed baths (3 en suite).The kitchen was well equipped, though the German oven and microwave were a challenge to operate -- they did work well, however!. A large refrigerator allowed us to maintain a good stock of food for home consumption. The air conditioning worked well with no disruptions during our two-week stay -- which seemed to us an ideal duration. Our host was simply outstanding! She responded to our questions almost immediately and provided very helpful suggestions for places to shop and to eat out, all of which were excellent in their own right. Additionally, the property manager was equally helpful and checked in regularly. This home and its complete management team ensured an absolutely delightful family experience. We are all ready to start planning a follow-on to the same property!

A lot or work is needed on the property: Bathroom faucets were broken as were the sliding glass doors. We could never get the Kitchen Stove to work—despite using the Operation Manual provided. It appeared the Manual did not match the Stove. A number of tiles need to be replaced in the swimming pool. Beach furniture is dated. Beautiful outside setting in a quiet residential area. Private pool and outside covered deck were terrific.
