This property is just beautiful. The house was perfect for our family. 6 adults (3 couples) and 4 grandchildren. Very new and nicely furnished. Wonderful bed linens and plenty of towels. Great kitchen, LOTS of gathering areas indoors and out. The kids loved being able to warm up in the hot tub after being in the lake. The boat dock was the best we have ever had. The upstairs had a very large shaded area and a gate for the kids to jump in the lake. Great fishing from the bridge and lots of good spots nearby also. There was hardly any boat traffic on this quiet slough. There are stairs to the lake but were very sturdy and easy to maneuver. There was also a fire pit with plenty of wood. We were able to rent a jet ski from Ski Bums and pick it up at a nearby marina. Triple creek Marina was nearby for gas. The owners responded very quickly to any questions we had. For us this was place was perfect!

This home was just the best. Stunning and secluded and everything we wanted! We can’t wait to come back. The beds were also the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in, ha! Make sure to bring everything with you- there really isn’t anywhere to stop by quickly to grab things you forgot.

The house was perfect. Everything we were looking for our visit to Smith Lake. The home looked exactly like the pictures and the dock was incredible. The house was new and had everything we needed for a cooking and outdoors family. We will be back to Smith Lake and will stay at this home.

The house was amazing! They had provided absolutely everything you could need and more. It was a beautiful warm day and we were able to use the kayaks, stand up paddle boards, amazing dock, corn hole, bon fire pit and hot tub. We hope to return for a longer stay next time! What a beautiful area that we never knew existed!

This was an amazing place for our weekend getaway! Such a beautiful property, so clean and well appointed and the hosts were amazing! The outdoor spaces are breathtaking and this was one of the best docks I have ever seen! Amazing!!!! Will definitely be back to enjoy this amazing place again!

The stay was very quiet and relaxing. We spent most of our time fishing, reading, and relaxing in the hot tub.

We needed to be close to family that wouldn’t be able to travel for the holidays but we still wanted to have our own place to to celebrate with our children like we were at home. Will and his wife went over and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and to have the house decorated for Christmas. We loved every moment of the week and will be making plans to return. If you’re looking for a beautiful house away from the hustle and bustle of life than here’s your place.

Do yourself a favor and book the property right away! It is beautiful and exactly as listed. The owners were amazing to work with as well. Would have given over 5 stars if it was a option.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property so much. The things it had available for our family to do was amazing. We’re actually thinking about coming down for another trip and would definitely book this house again.

The accommodations and location of Will and Heather's Crane Hill home are, in a word, perfect! The experience of renting, from communication prior to our visit, to the thoughtful touches welcoming us to their property, through their accessibility at the conclusion of our stay all contributed to an amazing weekend. We cannot recommend Will and Heather's VRBO listing on Crane Hill highly enough and hope to return next year!

My family: wife, four children aged 3-11, & my parents, rented this home for a week. The property had everything that you needed for an extended stay. The bathrooms were well-stocked with towels, washcloths, hand soaps, and toilet paper. They were also kind enough to provide dishwasher detergent and dish soap, cleaning supplies, paper towels, and laundry soap that got a family of 8 through an entire week. There was an abundant supply of beach towels, outdoor and indoor games, along with a well-stocked dock. My kids enjoyed playing Cornhole and we also spotted a giant Connect Four, but never used it. The beds were all comfortable, as well as the furniture. They had lots of throw blankets and pillows in every room. They had excellent sunchairs on the upper deck and chairs on the lower level. They had plenty of floaties and the children as well as the adults enjoyed the kayaks and standing paddle boards. I'm not sure if they provided life jackets because we always bring our own. My daughter had to have jumped off the upper deck of the dock at least 100 times while we were there. They also have a beautiful hot tub. We only used it a couple of times, but it was nice to have available. We brought our own spices, but they provided a lot as well. They also had plenty of storage containers for leftovers, Ziploc bags, Cling Wrap, and aluminum foil. There was just about every cooking device and vessel available. Including: Crock Pot, Instant Pot, and Air Fryer. Their gas grill was very clean (we've had to scrub others before use at other properties). The kitchen had plenty of Yeti-style lidded drinkware, and various sizes of cups and cutlery for the kids. The entire home was immaculately kept. The DISH connection only cut out during a storm. We had difficulty keeping connection in the basement to Netflix and DISH, but we didn't watch a whole lot of TV - so it wasn't an issue. Internet is spotty, but that's to be expected at such a remote location, which we loved! Overall, this has been THE BEST property we have ever stayed at, and we would definitely rent from the property owners again. Will was an exceptional host. He gave excellent customer service by communicating with us thoroughly prior to our arrival. We never had to reach out to him during our stay because the home had everything we needed. It is a beautiful home and we look forward to returning one day. Thank you, Will and family for an amazing family getaway!

This place was amazing. It’s a great size for everyone. We had everything we needed and more. The dock was above amazing and where we spent most of our trip. We had three boats and plenty of room to tie them up. Excellent layout chairs up top. The owners did a great job messaging us and checking on us all throughout. This property was awesome. Owners thought of everything you could possibly require and had those items readily available at the home. As a person who vacations often, that in itself is huge perk. From laundry detergent to olive oil : )) Owners were also very gracious when it came to the check in/out times, which we thoroughly appreciated. Home was exactly as pictured; cute as a button. Highly recommended, it won't disappoint!

Definitely would stay again and recommend to others. Last mile of road into home was rough and some places washed out during rains. Don’t recommend car.

Honestly, this house is under priced. It is a great Smith lake home to stay in. Just a few months old, super clean, great views, and more. The owners are great and easy to communicate with. My wife a I have stayed in a lot of VRBO houses and this ranks #1.

This is a great house and Will is a great host! We stayed here over the New Year’s holiday weekend with our three daughters, two sons-in-law, a grandbaby, and one of our mothers. The house has great quality appliances, furniture, and mattresses. The double-decker dock is fabulous, though being winter we did not spend much time there. It was warm enough that one of our daughters went down there to read for a while. It is a nice retreat for that and not just swimming! The screened-in porch is so inviting, and we did make a lot of use of it. It was enjoyable to sit around the fire pit table and talk about spiritual things! The kids played with the cornhole and spike ball games out on the front lawn. As I mentioned before, the host was great! He was super at communicating with us and making sure we were having a good time. When we had an issue with the sound on the TV, he stayed in touch with us until we got it figured out. He was very generous with us, going far above and beyond what was expected. This is a great place to get away from it all with your family and friends. Highly recommended!

Love this lake house. The house is gorgeous. Extremely clean, nicely decorated, pretty view, comfy beds, and awesome deck. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.
