We really enjoyed our stay at Parkway Hideout and would absolutely consider coming back. The home is very private, which is exactly what we were looking for, and it felt clean, comfortable, and inviting from the moment we arrived.The listing description is accurate and does a good job of setting expectations. One thing to be aware of is the road leading to the house—it didn’t bother us since we’re used to mountain roads, but I could see where that might be a bit intimidating for some guests. That said, don’t let it discourage you—just come prepared. Once you’re there, it’s well worth it. Town is also not far if you need anything, though we brought everything with us so we could just relax and stay put.The home has some great amenities, including a gas grill, hot tub, and pool table, and we really appreciated that it’s dog-friendly. I can only imagine how beautiful this place must be during a snowfall.One small note for families: I would recommend using caution with toddlers around the staircase, especially the stairs leading down from the main floor.Overall, this was a great stay—peaceful, well-maintained, and exactly what we hoped for. We’d definitely come back.

We stayed 4 nights at Parkway hideout. The house fit our family perfectly. We loved the gameroom, the hot tub, and firepit. I only gave it 4 stars because the hot tub does need repairs. There is a cover missing off the filter system and the jets are missing the protective metal rings. My daughter sliced her foot open on one of the unprotective blowers. We did contact the management and they sent out a service man. He could not find the sharp part. Then when we went back in, my husband found it and sliced his finger. Then when we went to cook our steaks for our New Years dinner, The gas tank on the grill was empty. Paid a lot of money for our rib-eyes and to have to cook them on the stove was very disappointing.

Enjoyed our trip. The house was perfect for our group
