We had a wonderful 5 days in this cozy chalet located near everything the Adirondacks has to offer ... gorgeous views, hiking trails, lakes & streams for watersports, restaurants, museums and more. The chalet was very clean and Carl was readily available to answer any questions we had. I highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful weekend at this property. Everything was exactly as shown and included everything could need. It’s located in a nice quiet area with beautiful views, the leaves were gorgeous and the deer were a wonderful addition. Carl was very responsive and helpful. We had a relaxing time by the campfire and even the wood was provided. Very nice all around.

This property was perfect for us who were there to relax, enjoy the views and play golf. It had everything we needed and the location was perfect. The owners thought of everything including the extras. We enjoyed the beach, the restaurants, gift shops and of course the magnificent fireplace at night.

Place was very clean. It was better than the pictures showed online. Will be staying here again for sure. My family had a blast. Carl was responsive. This place made my vacation for my family as we were very comfortable coming back to this place after long days. It is very private and everything worked including the fireplace. Highly recommended!

We were a family of 5 who traveled to the area for a wedding. The house fit our needs perfectly. Carl was very attentive, accommodating, and generous. We made some amazing memories!! Thank you for sharing your place with us!

House and deck give you the true Adirondack feeling . Peaceful and quiet yet close enough to town . Beach is nearby for swimming and fishing . Loved the big swing on the front porch. Host was very responsive . Highly recommend this cute little house where the deer and turkeys come to visit !

This place was perfect for our family. Very clean, new appliances and grill, unbelievable deck, great fire pit and beautiful private beach just down the street with parking pass. We may very well rent same place next year.

Loved our stay here. The deck on the property is fabulous - you are part of forest and see the lake through the trees. We had deer visit every day, and even had three full bucks resting ten feet from the deck. Close to everything but quiet, and all we needed was provided in the home. Highly recommend.

Carl was easy to contact and responsve to a power outage. We loved our time there. Saw a lot of wildlife and overall had a blast!

We had a very nice stay here. Perfect for a couple. We enjoyed walks right outside the door and could smell the fresh balsam in the woods. It’s very close to Old Forge and Inlet. Enjoyed indoor fireplace and outdoor campfires. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay at Carl's home in Old Forge. The home was super clean and had all the amenities you could need for a great weekend in the woods. Carl was an excellent host and had great communication. We would highly recommend.

Recently my family and I checked in and we found the house to be beautiful and clean and spacious lovely outdoor seating and just minutes from the town with so much to do! Would definitely book here again!!

Great place!
My wife, our 2 kids (3 and 18 mo), and their 2 grandparents stayed here for a few days and it was perfect. The place was big enough for everyone and had everything we needed. With the little ones we had to cook mostly at the property and they had everything we needed and more. We saw ample wildlife everyday which the kids loved, and spent most of the time on their amazing deck. We will likely be going back again.

Quiet, peaceful stay so close to everything!
This cabin was perfect for our stay (2 adults, 1 child). The location is quiet (we had a buck bed down in front of us 10 feet from the deck) We can’t wait to go back!

Great weekend away in Old Forge!
We loved staying at this property! The location was great. The house was clean, well stocked and nicely decorated. The living room was spacious and it had great outdoor space. We’d definitely rent it again!

Wonderful setting
The house was beautiful inside and out, situated on a quiet street great for walking with beautiful views of the lake and the fall foliage. The decks were extensive, with many different seating options. Such a peaceful place to relax. Our only complaint was that the kitchen could use a few more tools/cooking equipment. Not everyone likes to cook at home while on vacation but for those that do, a few more bowls, frying pans, etc. would be great, as well as some basics like hot pads. Otherwise, this really was a wonderful spot for a peaceful get away.

Nice property!!
We had a really great experience. Easy booking. Great communication from the host. Close to town and easy to get to. House is very nice and spacious as we had four adults in our party. We had two bucks entertaining us in a duel. You dont see that everyday. Wish pets were allowed so I could bring the whole family (we watch each others pets when someone is going away) but would still book this place again for just us.

peaceful hideaway
We had such an amazing stay over labor day weekend in this beautiful hideaway. The deck is amazing! I just wanted to stay on the deck the whole time and move around to all the different spaces! The chalet is beautifully maintained and has everything you need. The place is close to Old Forge, the beach, and numerous hiking trails. But if you want to just hang in the woods by the fire and watch the wildlife, this is the spot. The owner was so welcoming and readily available. I highly recommend this spot!
