The property was just as it is advertised. The proper was extremely clean and stocked well beyond what was expected. The owner checks on you during your stay via phone. Patrick was responsive to any questions within minutes. Great host!!! I would recommend this property to anyone. I'm already planning another stay.

Great little beach house for the perfect beach vacation. We enjoyed discovering Manasota Key, Englewood beaches. Just 2-3 miles from perfect sunsets and shark teeth hunting. It was nice to come back from the beach to enjoy the pool to cool off. We had a great time and property owner was so nice and accommodating. Great hospitality. We will be back for sure!

The house is fully equipped and offers plenty of space for 4 adults. It is exactly as described. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast on the veranda and the cooling off in the pool. The house is conveniently located for trips to the surrounding area.

Everything was great the kids loved the back patio, being able to swim and watch YouTube was my sons favorite.

This was a perfect location. House was beautiful and the kids loved the pool. There are beaches all around that you can drive too. The owners were always there if we needed something. We would definitely recommend this house and would stay again.

4 of us nurse friends decide to go on a girls trip and just so happened to be nurses week. We had a great time and the accommodations were amazing.

The house had everything I needed for a short beach break. It's within 15-20 minutes of several great beaches, and good seafood restaurants (I highly recommend Sharky's at the Pier and its more upscale sister restaurant, Fin's). Downtown Venice is also 15 minutes away, and it's charming. There's a Publix nearby, and you'll need to stock up on cooking essentials because the house has only the basics - salt and pepper - but that's fine. The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils, pots and pans, dishes, etc., but could use a colander (at least I didn't find one). The bed was comfortable, and the wifi was good. The smart TV allowed me to access Netflix, Amazon Prime, and YouTube. And the heated pool was great! It was lighted for late-night swims. Communication with the owners was very good - they always got back with me promptly. Also, the neighborhood is quiet. I'd definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay here. We spent most of our time on the lanaii that had a TV and a pool that had color-changing lights. There are two full bathrooms but one is not located by the bedrooms. The bedrooms share the main bathroom more or less. It was in very good condition and clean with the exception of the floor, that was not clean. It didn't appear to be vacuumed or mopped. The master bedroom was awesome with a well-lit makeup desk. The guestroom was adequate. There is an airport very close with small planes and an occasional small jet flying over. It didn't bother us, but it is a fact in case that would bother you. We stayed in three VRBO houses on our trip to Florida and none of them had a lanai that beat the one at this house. It was my favorite feature of all the houses we stayed in.

We absolutely loved this vacation home ! It was sparkling clean, well taken care of and beautifully decorated. You can tell the owners put a lot of effort into this property. The great salt water pool was such a treat, we will definitely stay here again in the future!!

Wonderful clean house with plenty of amenities to enjoy...whether it's bikes to ride in the nearby state park and intercoastal waterway or beach towels, coolers, umbrellas and chairs etc it's there. Loved eating meals on lanai next to pool. The hosts were friendly and desired to make your stay as satisfying as possible. The house is well situated for you to explore restaurants, beaches and towns on the west coast. We loved our 3 week stay.

Getting away from the cold and snow of NE Ohio in February, we had a wonderful stay. The home was very accommodating with a small but nice layout and a wonderful large pool out back enclosed in the lanai. Home was supplied with everything you need. Owners were very attentive checking in from time to time to see if there was anything we needed. We would definitely stay again.

Pat and Virginia are excellent hosts. Very accommodating to our needs. This property is excellent for two couples or small family. The pool and lanai are wonderful. Just pack your clothes and go to grocery store and you are all set!

Wonderful stay! We had a great time, the property was perfect, comfortable beds, clean, easy access to beaches, shopping, and dinning. The grill worked great and the pool was refreshing. No complaints!

This home has been one of the best we have ever had to pleasure of staying at. It was very comfortable and very well supplied. I mean anything you could even think of needing was there. Extra beach towels, coolers, pool toys -and the list goes on. The kids can not wait to go back!!

This house had everything our family needed for a week at the beach: dining area, plenty of living room seating, two full bathrooms, coffee maker, washer & dryer, a garage full of beach accessories & toys, etc. And of course the enclosed pool was great for the kids!

We had a fabulous time in Sunshine House. The online description of Patrick and Virginia’s home did not do full justice to the quality of our experience, from the gorgeous pool to the feeling of space in the living area, to the total cleanliness of everything, to the gas BBQ, and to even the quality of the shampoos etc in the showers. Everything was just right. It’s a drive of a mile or so to the beaches, but Venice public beach has great facilities, and North Jetty too. Great places for children and adults to have fun, especially with the in-house inflatable kayak/bodyboard, beach umbrellas etc. Thanks for the wonderful family memories.

Great experience.. The house was immaculate! Furniture and bed very comfortable and in good shape. It’s a salt water pool, which was very mild on our skin. That was a big plus! Fully equipped with towels, toiletries, kitchen wares, and paper towel/ toilet paper, etc. Love having the privacy fence. Plan on renting again. Owners were quick to respond to our inquiries from booking through departure. Would rent again
