My husband and I stayed for three nights at this perfect place. The Loft was perfect before we ever walked in. Beautiful flowers were blooming outside the door and a pumpkin was on the front steps. The inside of the Loft was so cozy and clean. The furnishing were very nice and the bed was very comfortable. The artwork in the walls was so pretty. We had everything we needed for our stay. The animals were so welcoming and we loved spending time with the chickens, geese and goats. Tessa was so kind and even told
us that we could check out later since no other guests were checking in the next day. I can see why this place got a 5 Star rating. It was absolutely perfect. We will definitely be making a return trip. Thank you Tessa for kind your hospitality.

Very cozy and comfy, peaceful location. Host was kind and informative, and let us meet and pet the resident goats, chickens,geese, and farmcat. We were in town for one night only, but enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend.

Very cute property and building! The bed was more soft than I prefer but everything was clean and the wall unit for heat/air worked really well.

We loved everything about this property. It was perfect for our overnight stay. Everything was very clean and smelled really good. The location was perfect. We were very close to down town Dillsboro and were able to hit some of the shops and have dinner. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for an awesome stay!

The accommodations were as described and worked well for attending a weekend wedding. It would be great if there were a trail to walk to town from the loft.

Absolutely charming loft with everything we needed for a few nights away! The owners communicated well with us before our stay and were there if needed, but allowed us our privacy. All kinds of cool towns and great food super close! Highly recommend this location to anyone!!!

We had a wonderful stay in the Dillsboro cabin/loft. My kids love the friendly farm animals. Our hosts were perfectly hospitable and even spent a while talking with the kids about all of the animals. Downtown Dillsboro is within walking distance, downtown Sylva is a 5-10 minute drive, and if you like fishing like my son, there is a river that is about a 3 minute walk away.

A very pleasant time. Cottage is cozy and well kept, close to downtown Dillsboro. Check in was easy. Interesting fact: 1993 Movie “The Fugitive” was filmed half mile away and the bus/train wreckage is still there to view. Super cool!

Easy to reserve, easy check in. Wish we could have just sat there and relaxed but we had a wedding to attend and that kept us busy. It is very nicely equipped and tastefully decorated. The shower is awesome! Great pressure and hot water!

Just ten minutes from the college, we stayed here in October of 2022. Everything was perfect. The place was adorable! The bed was comfy and the kitchenette was good for a small family planning to do some eating out and some light cooking. We did cereal and snacks but I saw an electric frying pan and of course there was a microwave. It had a mini fridge/ freezer for any local jams or brews you may pick up in town. There was also a keurig with plenty of pods, I thought that was very thoughtful! Nice decor, very cozy and most important for this mom and her daughters - safe!!

We enjoyed our stay immensely! A lovely, quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting out on the porches and enjoying the pastural setting and farm animals. The chickens and goats gave us "rock star" greetings. Never knew chickens could move so fast! So thankful to have had the opportunity to enjoy this gem of a place in Dillsboro. I highly recommend if you like quiet & peaceful & cozy.

The cottage was very cute, very country like, which made it very charming. The owner has it very well stocked with all the essentials that you need and the animals that are on the property are just too adorable.

Very enjoyable atmosphere inside and out. You can walk down the hill and have public access to the river. We had tubes with us so added to the fun. Animals all so happy. Thank you for such a clean and quiet places. Hope to use them again.

Great Family Getaway!
We had a great time for the weekend, and the loft had everything we needed. Tessa was a great host and was even kind enough to let my kids feed and play with the animals. The location is very convenient to WCU, Dillsboro, Sylva, and Webster. We would definitely stay here again.

I grew up in this area and this place was absolutely charming. It was a perfect homecoming after 10 years away. The outside was just beautiful...my son loved the chickens and goats. (Our host spent some time with us so we could see the animals and even let my son hold a chicken.) The loft was very clean and we'll decorated. Lots of well thought out details. A great collection of movies, puzzles and games. Tessa is very quick to respond to texts. The location is only a minute or two away from downtown Dillsboro. We would love to stay there again.

A Perfectly Charming Retreat!
Windcrest Loft was just perfect for our stay. The little cabin was cozy, and very well provisioned. Everything was clean and comfortable. The hosts were very easy to work with, and helped accomodate our early check-in needs to get us to the wedding we were attending the same evening. The chickens, geese and goats were fun to watch from the cute porch (watch your head if you're tall!) and it was perfect for sipping a morning coffee or evening beverage and just listening to the peaceful little farm. It's close to everything nearby, and just off the beaten path to give you privacy. My only complaint is we didn't have more time to spend here!
