Everything was clean and up to date. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials and everything worked. Couldn't ask for better.
If you want me to nit-pick...showers were a little small-ish. The driveway could be a problem for those with larger vehicles, as there is limited turnaround area at the top of the driveway and it is very steep, and would benefit from re surfacing. Again, those are nit-picky, and overall we had an excellent stay.

We came to Asheville for a wedding weekend. It was the perfect place for the four of us. Very clean, large enough to hang out and enjoy a meal or downtime. Some slight issues with the AC, but a fan and open windows in late September saved the day.

We stayed at this rental in August, 2023. The location is great, close to the interstate, grcery stores, the Nature Center, Highland Brewery, etc. The house is tucked away from the neighbours and the road, very private. The description and pictures reflect the reality. Well equiped kitchen, comfortable beds, lot of space for everybody and overall very comfortable house. We did have enough TP. :) The steep driveway was a little nerve wrecking for the first time, but managable. I highly recommned it and would stay here again.

Loved this cottage!!!! Well done updates, comfy beds, great use of space and super clean! Upstairs was a bit hot when we arrived but the AC and fan did the trick. Loved this cottage! Ready to move in!

Located across from Blue Ridge Parkway entrance. The home was conveniently located to get downtown and to the Highland Brewery event center.

The houses on the street are all on top of each other, so to speak so there is really no outdoor space other than the porch itself and the firepit. We didn't attempt to use it because you have to have the outdoor lights off by 10 PM they request little to no noise after that time as well. The neighnorhood seemed sort of sketchy when we arrived but we never had any problems at all in that regard. The house has been remodeled and was clean. Some stains on the carpet; the towel rack in the master bath had been ripped off of the wall, the faucet in that bath was really loose so you have to be careful with it. The master bath shower has some cracks on the tub floor but works fine. There is plenty of hot water and water pressue is good. Appliances are new and work well. We did have to call the management company twice and they were very friendly and quickly resolved the issue.

Wonderful spot for our out of town family to stay for our sons wedding! Super comfy beds. Plenty of cozy blankets on this cold raining weekend!

We enjoyed our stay at the Squirrel's Nest! It's located in the SE hills only about seven minutes from downtown (Biltmore Village area), right next to the entrance of the Blue Ridge Pkwy. The house is older but updated, with all the utensils you need to cook food (you will need to purchase all food and condiments, though), three "bedrooms" (one is a small room with a trundle bed attached to a larger room that doesn't have a door, but is at least up and around a bended staircase), and two full bathrooms. The house is NOT for people who have difficulty with stairs or anyone very tall (at least, the tall person will need to watch his/her head and avoid the bathroom off the staircase). The living room is small but the fact that there's a table on the deck and a fire pit on the other side of the house means there's plenty of space for everyone to hang out. We enjoyed our stay, except for the fact that they didn't leave enough toilet paper for our five-day stay; we had to go purchase this on our last day. Otherwise, it's amongst the beautiful mountains and wildlife -- I saw a bear on a walk around the neighborhood so just be aware of your surroundings as always with nature! -- which means it was a nice getaway after enjoying the city. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and our two boys stayed the weekend. It’s in a great location just off 74A, the residential street has a variety of homes and is quiet. The driveway is steep but even with snow and ice we had no problem in our Honda Pilot. Check in and out was easy. Everything in the house was like new; wish there had been a boot tray by the door because we had snowy boots. The upstairs stayed very warm, my boys liked the pull out trundle. The bathroom by the stairs had a low ceiling - my 6’2” son used the shower downstairs instead. The owners have obviously taken a lot of care in decorating and stocking the house, We bought dice for the Monopoly and Clue games, which were both oddly missing, My sons loved the Xbox too! Overall, a great stay for our fam!
