Family Fun @ Wyndham Kingsgate -3 Pools - Close to Busch Gardens - LOCAL HOST

We love this property! There are plenty of things to do, which is why we choose to stay here. Some of us like to go to Busch Gardens, and it's only about 20 min away, while the other half stays and hangs out at the pool and plays in the arcade room. They also have activities to sign up for, as well as a mini movie theater. The condos themselves are fairly spacious with 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms, as well as a sofa bed. The beds were all very comfy! I loved being able to have coffee in the morning on the small balcony. They condos could probably be updated a little as far as drapes and carpet goes, and it would make it feel less dated, but that's a minor complaint in the overall excellent experience. Housekeeping was very quick to respond to any requests and the condo was very clean. Overall, an excellent place to stay! 5 stars!

Great for kids, pools and game rooms are super. A little crowded at check-in and they were having a lot of problems with the key cards. But otherwise had a wonderful time.

A couple minor issues on day one were handled within minutes. Very professional and friendly staff.

The unit we stayed in was an older unit in need of refurbishing. The kitchen cabinets are badly worn. There is a divot under the carpet going into the master bedroom, someone could twist an ankle if they stepped into it. The dresser drawers in the master bedroom do not stay closed. You close them and they slide right back open. The unit smelled very musty when we arrived and the kitchen counters were sticky with crumbs on the backsplash. I wiped everything down with Clorox wipes and found a ball of toilet paper under the toilet seat. We had a first floor unit and could hear every footstep from the people above us especially going up and down the stairs. This woke us several times after midnight when they returned from wherever they were. The latch to the exterior door jammed the day before we were to leave. We were not able to get in or out of the building. The cleaning guy that went upstairs hit my son on the head with the door as my son was looking at the latch. He preyed open the door and blasted through it. I reported it to the maintenance number they gave us with no response. I contacted several numbers and finally received a response from the number sending us the invitations for their "showcase including gifts". They instructed me to contact guest services. At some point someone must have come out to tighten the screws holding the latch. The entire door knob needs to be replaced as it did not function correctly. It is family friendly, we loved the game room!
